It's a good idea if you two have some sort of history there (is this where you met, etc?) or if she's really into going to Great America.

It's a bad idea if this is just some cool place that you thought of with no relation to you or the relationship. If this is the case, I would think of a spot that is special to her or both of you.

GOOD LUCK!!!

That sounds great if that is the place you want it to be, you can plan something. I think you should tell someone who work there to help you maybe they have something. while you are waiting in line you can bring something she loves it can be a box of chocolate or something and put the ring where she can see it right away when she opens it. like for the chocolates you can put the ring on top of the chocolate or take one out and put it there. Or I just though of something You can ask her to go to the movies or somewhere where lights are going to be off. then without letting her know put the ring on her finger that once she notice she will say something.

i would do it where its just you and her, make it romantic, like put some slow good music on, light all the candles you can find without burning the house down rose petals everywhere, dress real nice for when she comes home she will be surpised take her into your arms and dance with her then sit her down to have a glass of wine to which the ring will be in the glass and then pop the question, and thena nice dinner waiting for her, its so much nicer when its just the two of you then when the night is over you and her can tell everyone to which hopefully everyone will be excited just make it exciting for the both of you, and a night you both can look back at.

If this is a special place for the two of you (you met there, had your first date there etc) you should do it. If you do, make sure it's romantic. If it's not a special place for you, don't do it. She will remember the moment you asked her to marry you for the rest of her life AND she will tell anyone and everyone how and when it happened. And she is going to want everyone to say "Awww how romantic" when she tells them.
I have been married for 18 years and I really wish my husband would have gone that extra mile. It was totally unromantic and even after all these years I remember it like it was yesterday. Honestly, from an old married woman, make sure its from your heart and meaningful.

Nope-try some place more romantic. Unless you're a teenager, in which case you shouldn't be proposing anyway.

Well, is there significance there? If so, do it. It's a lot better than the cliche of getting down on your knee at dinner...
