You should definitely meet them first, because with all of this stuff going on in today's world you can't trust those teenage boys...Be a good mother and meet them first...And, I don't know your daughter personally, so don't take this to offense, but make sure your daughter isn't doing anything..Because it sounds like she's going off a lot...Just be careful.

I'm a 14 year old girl, and I'll tell you how I might feel..I'd probably feel like you were invading my privacy, etc, etc, etc...But in the future I'd be thankful that you were looking out for me.

So, you REALLY need to meet these boys.

I agree with you. I would want to meet the teens that are with my teens. You have every right to want to meet with the teens. After all she is your daughter. You would not just drop your child off with some stranger why would you with your daughter. I would want to know who she is with and where they are. What if something was to happen? I would want to know the boys. Remember your the parent as well, if your husband doesn't want to meet the boys then that is on him. If I was you I would meet them before she goes and hold to your guns. The world is getting crazier by the day. It sounds as if you are only being a wonderful mom. We have to be aware of our child and were they are and who they are with. You keep doing that and Good luck. I hope I was able to help. MEET THE BOYS!!!

First of all, what planet is ur husband from? Doesn't he watch the news?! I have a teenager and a preteen, neither of them go anywhere until my husband and I at least meet them. They definitely don't stay overnight unless I've gotten to know the parents and feel comfortable with them.
Another good idea is to insist on a number where you can reach your child in case of emergency and call to check on her at least once.

Tell your husband he's a fool. Insist on meeting these boys. For the safety of your daughter. I know how teen boys can be. I was one once.

ask to meet the boys.. bring them out for lunch (cause the best way to a boys brain is food right?) drive your daughter to there house, but only if your daughter wants you to meet them.. its a good thing that she has friends and even better if she feels comfortable introducing them to you... oh and don't make judgemnt calls on her friends cause well there her friends not yours. theres obviously a reason why your daughter is FRIENDS with them. Good luck!

look if your daughter is going anyplace thatt you feel you should know about than by all means go and check it out for yourself. who tha he** cares if she or her friends think that you are crazy...i call that crazy like a fox. she should go no where that you can't check out for yourself. i don't care what anybody says that is your child and once something happens to her all others can say is sorry well sorry doesn't cut it. be nosy and show some courage. if she hollers so be it at least you will know. one day that child will walk in your shoes and face these problems and she will need a reference to how to handle it right, never underestimate your intuition ever.

Don't let her! You need to meet the people before she even thinks of going over there. How about inviting them over to YOUR house! You can scope out what they're like and get a feel about it. Then afterwards, you can sit down and talk one-on-one about it!

Definitely you should meet them first. You never know what could happen to your daughter at one of these boys houses. For crying out loud she could get raped or anything bad could happen. Stick to your guns. Your right.

You should definitely know who she's going to see. At least request a phone number and call to talk to the parents. I wouldn't buy that. My son wouldn't be going anywhere unless I did and he's only 11.

You should meet them first but realize she'll just say she's out with th girls and do whatever. If you know where they live, go discretely check out whats going on.
