Marriage & Divorce - 11 August 2006

Why in western lifestyle is Divorce an option. Putting aside Abuse which is a clear reason for divorce. Falling out of love isnt. You made a commitment. Europeans have a different outlook on marriage , its for life and its the decision you made. Falling for someone else is not an excuse. Westerners need to look at the europeans and understand that they have a better idea of the meaning of marriage.

I know her husband would have beaten me up if I did shag her but that would have only happened if he had found out but it was my ex wifes best friend who came on to me but I regret the fact that I turned her down.

My wife divorced me for not being honest with her but I didn't want to break up her friendship with her friends as she didn't have many, just Nettie and a few ugly single blokes at her work who saw my wife as a cheap slapper, sadly this turned out to be far too accurate I'm afraid.

I know my ex wifes' best friend broke up our marriage but how can I get over the fact that I got divorced for being too honourable?

Also, can anyone give me advice on how I can make a relationship work when I don't believe a word anyone tells me anymore?

and I have been separated for 4 years our sons hold it against me Because I walked out.He had lovers from the first night.They think I did the injustice by leaving.Now when there father comes home they make apoint to come see him but will pass my home 2times one going and 1 leaveing but they never stop. My question is should I go back to my husband so I can see my grandkids?

What's up with that? My ex almost cut his thumb off with a box cutter on a accident one time & here he was standing there almost bleeding to death & he kept going "I'm alright, it's ok I don't need to go to the hospital". I had to force him & he ended up having to get 18 stitches. I have nursing training & could help but he's like "It's alright". What's up with that guys?

Been married for 17 years, a very affectionate marriage, I love him with all my heart and soul (And yes it was love at lst site). I have en-sercuity issues (that I am working on, on a daily basis) He is aware of these. He has never given me any doubts (of maybe somtimes he leaves out little details and I get the feeling that he is hiding something-I'm sure thats to avoid conflict)but normallyhe has always made me feel loved. BUT when I see some female going all giddie on him (and yes I do see it as a compulment) I get alittle crazy, vocal and aggressive. Why can't females stay off of someones husband, you know repect thing! Back to my question--2 months ago I blew up, in a crowd, due to him and some chick were talking (yes she had to touch him after every other word) when I walked up conversation continued, then I started to get funning vibs from the two and waited over 15 min. and he not once introduced. I blew stormed off and now he doesn't even kiss be good bye/hello/nothing

In your opinion, with a well thought out plan for the future, if one wishes to marry, what age should they consider it? Answer this assuming that this person has thought about what they would like to do (career wise), if they are of the Christian faith (knowing the duties in the marriage and keeping it Holy), and is respectful, honorable, faithful, and loving to the person to whom they wish to marry.

The reason i ask is this:

My wife is in the Army in training, on base, which means she has no bills or utilities or rent to pay, and nor food or gas to buy. Yet she's spent over $1138 on stuff (in the past 30 days) according to my bank statement from using my debit card. She says my card hasn't been stolen and she only spent a little bit. You only have so much room in your barracks for your personal stuff, and by the time she left BCT, she had 3 big bags FULL of stuff already. What could she be spending it on?

Anyway, I decided to cap her spending to a few dollars a day. What would you do? Have you been in this situation before? Did putting a leash on her spending work? Did she hate you for it, or realize she had a problem and face it?

i deeply love my kid &my husband.but everything changes when i gave my baby birth.we have not much to talk.i try to keep balance and share my love to my baby and husband.when my husband come home i always try to talk &pay attention to him.but i think it's only me to try.he only pays attention to our kid.manytimes i feel so lonely.I used to tell him but he said i think too much and it better 2-3days and it return to be invisible wife again.
ps.we've no sex for a year and half.Is it weird? cos my friends said it's too longtime.

He is a business man. His base is in Asia Pasific. He is gerenal manager for the one success software company. His parent is Ph.D and Nano Tecnology scientist. We almost have wedding and we already built a house. this house is not complete yet but 6 months. We broke because our communication was error so many time. He is busy with his job. i also busy with my job and my thesis. Time zone is so different. i want this guy back but i feeling embarassed to him. we now still talk on skype or sms or email and mobile. But there is not romantically talk.He said he is happy to talk to me . he said i am very strong woman. in the beginning they listen and talk to you and act all interested and want to spend time with you. Then as time goes by you don't talk anymore and he acts nice and interested in you right before he trys to get sex or are there men that stay affectionate and talkative way into the relationship or is that just a tactic at the begining of a relationship to get in our pants then later you all become boring and almost mute??? or is that just my husband

So my best friend asked me some personal questions and im not sure how to best answer them for her.

She said that she isnt in love with her husband any more and is thinking of seeking divorce. She has children and the youngest is 4. Her 4 year old is very attached to his father, and it would most likely cause great stress.

She wanted to know what I thought, but honestly I dont think she should do it. I feel that her children have a really good father that loves them and provides for them. My friend has no job, and in my opnion not trying to work things out with her man.

She say that hes very distant with her, never says he lvoes her, doesnt celebrate their aniversary or every want to have sex with her. But she says that she doesnt belive hes cheating because hes been like this before they were married.

I'm over my head because i have different beleifs than her and dont think divorce should be an option when hes not physically hurting her.

What do you guys think?
