What's up with that? My ex almost cut his thumb off with a box cutter on a accident one time & here he was standing there almost bleeding to death & he kept going "I'm alright, it's ok I don't need to go to the hospital". I had to force him & he ended up having to get 18 stitches. I have nursing training & could help but he's like "It's alright". What's up with that guys?

at the end of the day its just dumb pride I did it my self I popped my knee out at football practice and even after someone offered to drive me to the doctors to have it looked at I road my motorbike home and went to the doctors the next day . it was just stupid pride

The same reason why men won't stop and ask directions when they are lost. I think it is because they are afraid it will make them look weak or human. I know from a personal standpoint I have this problem. I took a nasty fall back in April and I still suffer pain in my arm, leg and hip but I just hide it as best I can and go through each day.

Cos we always Wanna Show our Women we re Stronger Than them and we can take Pain Easily... Guys Always Like Hiding Dere Pains or anyfing dat will make da Women fink dey re chicken... it has been dat Way Since da 70's...

It could be denial, or maybe he wants to protect you, he could even be scared of hospitals.
