I can't really answer this question really but I just wanted to say that I have also went thru a VERY similar instance. My soon-to-be husband's ex-wife ( who is re-married by the way ) got VERY jealous when me and him first started dating (they had been divorced for at least 8 yrs) and she was also remarried to another man and had been married to her 2nd Husband for almost 2 yrs!! So it seemed so weird that she would get jealous after all that time and after she has been with some else herself!!I guess the only answer I can think of is that sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone Baby!!

I had an old faithful FIAT car which was the first car I had purchased. It was totally faithful to me and had never let me down. suddenly, because of its age(born in 1992) it started giving me troubles and I sold it off and took a new Suzuki. I am happy with the new vehicle but occasionally I see my old FIAT being driven by some starnger and I become jealous and want to take back the car!!!
Same is the case with you. Whether it was she or you who initiated the divorce, you were once upon a time "made for each other" and had some golden moments to cherish. Thus when your ex see the new one,she has the same feeling of you selling out the old one and going in for new! But she was your faithful old car and still cherish the golden association she had which she, in her mind, accuses the new wife, the reason behind her deprival!! dont worry, do not exhibit your new wife in front of her and avaoid accidents of these two meeting each other!!!

Because the ex can't accept the fact that the one they left behind is actually happy now and has moved on. It's almost as if the ex wife expects the ex husband to be miserable and is surprised that a new woman is now making him a happy man.

Phhhffffttt!!! WHAT!!! You mean to tell me you didn't just lay down and die without your Ex- wife in your life? Phhhffffttt! What nerve! You are supposed to wander the rest of your life alone, miserable and begging her to come back into your life so you can be a whole man again! Phhhffffttt! Just Kidding! Congrats Man! You just distroyed your ex-wifes hopes and dreams! Your new wife is my hero!!! ***that is because I did the same to my husbands Ex-wife too! It kills her to see him so blissfully happy and she knows he is now with a real woman who is going to love him forever and always be faithful to him. Plus everyday he is thanking Gawd she is no longer in his life! So while we continue to have everything together she has nothing on her own and she too caused the Divorce...(she got pregnant by another man while they were married)...now he is in jail ,so she is still single- with yet another kid-and she keeps getting used by every man she meets every since. Hey! Karma is a Biatch! What goes around comes around! She got what she deserves and thank gawd so did my hubby...ME! kisses and hugs to all the ex's in the world! Be careful when you cheat and what you wish for Ladies & guys!...you may be giving up everything you already have to some other woman or man who wants what is already yours! And it ends up being everything you want again!!

Wild flower look at her in this light... she had an old Corvette and it lets her down all the time so she sells it to this girl right she spend some dollars and very little time and all of a sudden her old heap is a lovely super responsive sex machine well .husbands are the same she got him brand new ,run him down and started to think of him as the old machine . now you have him and he is like a new man all happy and performing like a sports model and she can only dream about how good he was when he was new ... in a word she has memories and they are eating her up inside . dont hate her pitty her its a lot more fun wink wink >;O)

Not all ex WIVES asked for divorce. The husband could have cheated on them forcing them to make that decision or the husband asked for a divorce.

well.. it depends. if the marriage lasted for more than 20 years, then letting go or forgetting becomes hard; even if the reason for the breakup was a horrible one. Feelings are not just stored away after relationships end. You will always feel a sense of connection regardless...

Sounds like she knows she screwed up and "jumped the gun", got a divorce from him and now regrets it. She seems like she really does need to get a life, a job, or at least a hobby and leave y'all two alone.

well maybe she isn't jealous if ya'll have children maybe your ex sees something in your new wife that she doesn't like I mean my ex flatters himself all the time thinking I am jealous I am not he makes me wnat to purge but I do not like her how she is with my kids

i am an ex wife and sometimes you feel like your marriage meant nothing to your partner especially if you were cheated on if this isn't the case have you ever heard of wanting something you can't have especially if it was yours to begin with if i can't have him no one can
