Of course you can get over her...you just choose not to right now. She has moved on in every sense of the word. Accept it. You can love the memory of the life you once shared, but give it up! There is someone is this world who will make you happy and you will have a feeling of completion when you meet the right one. You can sit there and argue & say that the ex was the right one, but if she was, she'd still be with you right now instead of someone else. Please, don't agonize over this...choices have been made on both parties as it takes two to make or break a relationship. Time to pick up the pieces and move forward.

Phhhfffttt!! Duh....you are supposed to wander the earth the rest of your life alone, miserable & longing forever for her and forget moving on with life or.... give someone else the chance to make you truley happy. Get out and be seen...life goes on. However if you are the one that caused the divorce....Sucks to be you and you deserve the first suggestion of this comment!

Love does not necessarily mean possession. Therefore, you may continue to love her irrespective of her presence. We continue to love our parents, friends etc even when they depart. Likewise you may continue to love your ex-wife even when she leaves and accept such loss as part of life that you cannot help.

time sometimes doesn't heal everything. that is such junk
if you want to keep in touch with the kid so he doesn't get hurt that much. plus you must think about them before anything else.

Time heals all wounds. After awhile you may want to date again.
