My son has been with this wonderful girl since he was 15 yrs. old. They have a son, and a set of twins. The thing is that they had a falling out, and ever since then he has been obssesing about it. Cant let go, hasn't been able to come to terms with the situation, has become increasingly abusive towards her. I have tried together with his sisters to have him understand that what he is doing is unacceptable. She has tried to show him in many ways that she loves him and cares for his well being, and the kids. Unfortunately, he just cant get past certain things..Well the last straw was when my grndson called me crying that they just keep fighting. I told her that if he goes back to her house to start a fight, simply call the police and have him locked up. I also told them both that they cant continue to have the kids wittness these fights, the are being traumatized, they both should be thinking of the kids.

My older sister lives with my mother, four hours away from me. Mom is in her 70's and has been feeling ill and worried about her demise. Mom listed me as top executer of her belongings, even though my sister lives with her. Neither of us really has a plan of how to handle things when the time comes. Any advice? I am in extremely bad financial condition, but mom has many assets, house, car, bank accounts and I just feel overwhelmed at the thought of dealing with all these things.

I did this over careful review, and even some discussion with other family members and spouse. My mother, unfortunately, is a terrible human being, and nothing has changed about that in all the time I have known her.

My parents seperated about a year ago and i never understood why. They never seemed unhappy to me. But one day I was with my mom and I heard her on her phone talking to someone saying how much she loved him and that he was the reason she left her husband. I was devastated. Should I confront her and should I ever tell me dad?

My three and a half y/o daughter has become quite attached to my boyfriend, we are all very close to one another. She actually has a more loving nuturing relationship with him then her father. However as previously mentioned we are only dating, marrige has been discussed and we both would like to once we have more stability together. Lately my daughter has "slipped" a couple times per day and called him daddy, neither of us have said anything to her as of yet....how should I handle talking to her about this? He loves that she calls him daddy, but I don't think it is right if we aren't married and she still she's her dad occasionally? Am I wrong in this thought? She we talk to her about it at all??
Thanks.

My bf & I have dating for 6 yrs. so its basically like were married w/out rings, anyway a year ago my bf & I bought a house, his mom brought over wed. dinners (which I despised but didn't say anything). We have been living there for 1yr & 3 months but we have realized that we would much rather live out in the country than in the city, we feared telling her because she it very protective I guess. He finally had to tell her because she could tell we were keeping something from her &she thought I was preggers. We just found out that she called her x-husb. (my bf's dad) and said she wanted to have like an intervention with us about moving. His dad said she was crazy and that were not alcoholics we just want to sell our house. we weren't supposed to know about the"intervention" so we can't confront her about it, but is there anything we can do? She is one of the reasons we want to move an hour away! ps she is still really protective because he only moved out 2 yrs ago (were 20) & he is

It has almost been 4 years since I join the army.... I was either in iraq or being oversea somewhere. I have been home once for 14 days... And I hated the feeling of being home. Those 14 day felt like hell. I hated the people around me, and felt angry at myself and I don't know why. I feel depress just thinking of going home. I'd be receving a honorable discharge this winter and be heading home right after. I want to start over... But I feel very uneasy inside. What should I do?

An ex girlfriend who I have a five year old child with is very scorned that I have a new girlfriend and filed a a restraining order on me claiming that I would slit her throat and kill her etc. A judge actually signed this. This was two years ago and I only found out through watching my son in her apartment with the papers on the floor. I kept it but I never checked in to this but I never went to court and I don't think she ever did. Can I still contest this restraining order or is there statue of limitations. I think this is slander and outrageous that a judge would sign without proof. Just for the record, I never laid a finger on her. What should I do, I want her to pay for every father that is going through the court system with little hope. Also she stated that it happened at 1:30 in the morning, how can I prove this is false, I was just at home which wouldn't be good enough. I didn't respond in good time with this issue or back support that I don't owe. What to do?

I've seen so many young girls shopping with their dad at my clothing store. I was just wondering how does it feel? And do you like shopping with your mom or your dad better, and why? [My dad died when I was 7; mom remarried when I was 19 and my stepdad is a very serious person, not a fun one to shop around with.]

my mom moved to a very small town with me and my older brother. every 2 weeks i would get 250 dollars. she met this guy named Tim. and it all went down hill from there.

This Tim guy would call her Lesbian, *****, slut, whore, you name it he has said it. he is just a 100% asshole. so my mom started going to bars and drinking about once every 2 weeks, then it became once every week, and now its 2 to 3 times a week. when she comes home she yells and screams. my mom stopped working and so did Tim and got on disability. half assing the bills, not getting enough food for the month, plus the drinking taking like 200 to 300 dollars a month. losing the cable, gas shut off and it being cold in -20 degree weather. i gave my mom 75 dollars every 15th. and one day we were low on food very low! and i give my mom the 75 dollars and she goes out and blows it on drinking. i go and i yell at my mom because she spent our food money of beer. and now shes furious at me.do i have a right to be mad at her?

My 11 year old son is sick and tired of his dad making promises to him and then not following through. Promises such as - signing him up to play little league football, and then not doing so. Promises such as, getting him hermit crabs and promising to provide everything needed for them - and then not doing that.

This really isn't about material things, getting him this, that and the other thing - he is just so tired of his dad saying *I promise* and then putting it off with *I'm sorry, I forgot* or *We'll do that next weekend*

I know being a weekend parent can't be easy - there probably seems like there is never enough time. But this has been going on for nine years and my son has had enough!

If I bring this up, my ex will think all this came from me...but it didn't. My son cried for close to two hours tonight thinking about all this and he just doesn't know what to do.

He is physically disabled and has a twin sister (that gets EVERYthing promised)

I consider my ex to be acting out of negligence concerning our son in many ways & he refuses to listen to my concerns so I'm at a loss at what I can do to get him to listen before it is too late. Our son is 6 but tonight my ex put him in the front seat of his truck (even though there is a back seat). I asked our son to move to the back my ex told him not to. My son has also came home on many occasions without being in a booster seat (for over a year now) and my son told me the other day my ex let him ride WITHOUT a seatbelt at all a few weeks ago because his back was sunburnt and it hurt. My son's grandmother (my ex's mother) also told me my ex told our son NOT to wear a helmet on his bike (plus it is the law). I really feel like my ex is putting our son's safety in jeopardy for no reason or just to spite me and its stupid. I'm not a person to sue but I certainly will sue the pants off him if our son ends up hurt but then it might be too late.
I need suggestions to get my ex to stop!

ok, there is a very long story to this, but i will try to make it as short as possible. well the bottom line is that my uncle (dads brother) went totally crazy. he wont talk to any of his friends or family and he left got up and left, leaving a house, car, animals...everything! no one knows where he is at, and no one can get a hold of him.

so my dad went to my uncle's house (that he left) and was going to get the pet snake out and also take some other things that he left (tables, chairs ect.). But some how my uncle found out that he took those things and said (on the answering machine, from his cell phone) "(my dad's name) better take everything back to my house that he took or he wont be around anymore."

i am really scared because my uncle likes to fight people and he went totally crazy. im afraid that he is going to do something to my dad. but no one else seems to think anything of it..

What should i do?

Ok I bought a baby gift for one of my friends but it is clothes and has the price printed on the hanger its on but I cant take the hanger off because it is holding 2 outfits together. So do you think I should just black the price out with a marker or just give it to her with the price on it? She's not one of my really good friends.. just someone I see sometimes.
