my brother is 8 years old and once on his way home from class these two kids that were about 11 or 12 started throwing lighters at him and followed him the whole way home.
after i heard about it i got really mad and decided to go find them. out of luck,i actually did.when i confronted them, they wouldnt admit it and i decided to just leave it and when i walked home they threw lighters at ME. i am 13 and mad(not in the crazy way). but since i couldnt find them i couldnt do anything about it.cept today i met them in a shop and i was wearing rollerblades so i couldnt chase them.
any advice on what i should do if i meet them again?
i want to get them to apologize to my brother cuz he was so scared. and my mom doesnt think its a big deal.

Tell another adult that will care. Your mom should care, especially once you tell her. Ignore the bullys next time you see them and ruin their fun.

***Because two people are bullying your brother, you in turn decide to bully them??***

This isn't really the correct way to handle this. Much as I appreciate that he is your brother and you want to look out for him, you must refer this to the appropriate adult. Is that your parents? Grandparents? Teacher?

Remember that sometimes by chasing something, you may be making a situation worse instead of better. Your brother would be best to avoid these people at all costs and they will soon forget and start on someone else.

They won't apologize and if they are difficult to find, just as well... Do NOT pursue a fight that you alone can not win...

Just remember if you take a bunch of friends with you, chances are they will do the same unless they are a couple of losers that only hang out together...

It is wonderful that you are taking up for your little brother! If you can not reason with these little jerks, try getting another adult involved, like a favorite teacher, neighbor, etc. If that doesn't work, try finding a older friend to scare the little punks.

Let the school know about what is going on. They should take action on your brother's behalf. Bullying should not be accepted at all.

thats messd up. maybe ask your parents if you can pick him up from school, so you can meet the bullys there, or maybe tell the teacher that these kids are picking on your little brother. maybe consider telling your parents. they won't only get the kids involved, they'll get their parents involved

You aren't going to be able to get them to apologize. Let it go for now and see if the problem persists. Don't overreact, there's a lot worse bullying than that.
