She does not work outside the hosue and has had a good life but becomes frigid whenever there is a problem relating to my work or anything else...

I can't really tell what the question is. Additional information to clarify? Perhaps you should try to get in on his addiction. If you both see it as a bad thing, that's one thing. If you are pressuring him to see it as a bad thing, that's another. Perhaps you should try some of the techniques he's watching the videos for. Why is there no intimacy? Any why is it his fault? Porn doesn't stop intimacy. If you want to leave, I'll be honest - I'm not going to stop you. If you feel so strongly about it, leave. As he says he's willing to work at it, if you're willing to work at it, stay.

I am not exactly sure what her not working outside the house has to do with anything (do you 2 have kids.. maybe she is tired and gets no help), but obviously there is something she isnt telling you. Has she always been this way

Take advantage of the trouble free times and quit bringing your work issues home if they are causing problems. You have to learn to play by her rules, but be quick because they will change without notice.

You need a marriage counsellor, you have to be willing to go and your wife. If you what to save your marriage, go right away. If your wife doesn't what to go! well consider your relationship over! you need to talk out your problems! not be childish. Only children tantrum, adults talk!
Grow up get a set of, well you know and ask for help!!

Show her, lovingly how attractive you can be to other women. How? Tell her about your admirer(s) for a few days. See how she reacts. Be innocent and cute and do NOT make her feel that you are doing this to be mean to her, rather just innocent conversation with your wife about a women you met who thought you were cute or who said this and that.

my wife does the same thing. but we've only been married one year!!!??? I know how you feel. This sucks. But you know what I did. I bought a "Love Swing" wink wink. And she's eager to use it. Doesn't help the problem any but it's fun to think about.

Maybe this is your wife's way of dealing with issues. It may be hard for her to be intimate when she feels anxious or stressed about something. It makes sense if you think about it...feeling more intimate when you are not worried or upset.

It may not be "fair" but stress can make a woman shut down emotionally and not want to open up that way. What would you have her do, force herself and lay there like a dead person?

She's a control freak. As soon as you let her know it does not bother you, that weapon will be useless. Of course you still won't get sex, but she won't have the satisfaction that she is manipulating you. If you don't have kids, get out.
