Is it socially okay if a teenager sleeps in the same bed with her/his Mother? I'm asking for my niece, she still sleeps with her mother.

Okay i got offered to go to california with me aunt to help her babysit her grandchildren. But then my couzin,my aunts daughter, also asked if i would be able to stay until november to help her because that's when her husband get's back from iraq.

Now i really want to go because i love to travel and that will get me out of texas and out to see new places. But the thing is, i know i am going to miss my nephew. I love him to death, and he is the only reason i am having doubts on whether or not to go. Now this is probably the only opprotunity i will have to go to california and get paid to babysit. But i just don't know if i should stay or go. I am always missing my nephew when he is not around. I know he's only 2 yrs old and he probably won't even get affected by me leaving, but i just can't stand being away from him for that long. Should i just suck it up and go, or should i stay home. SOMEONE GIVE ME THEIR HONEST AND NICE OPINION PLEASE!!!!

I do not hate children.I have lots of cousins and nieces who get nothing but love and hundreds of toys when they see me.But as for myself , i have opted out of race for baby quilts.Everybody I know always ask me ,gently and rudely,when am I going to have kids.When i say i won't ,they shrug and say that i will change my mind like i had not even spoke.If men are allowed to have their lives the way that they want it without further comment,why can't i?No one has asked my younger brother ,who is 22,when he will start making babies.I,m just 3 years older than he is!!!

If you have a teenage son (17 & over). Do you still require him to follow the house rules, or do you just let him roam free (go wherever he wants, be home whenever he wants, etc). What if he was 18 and his girlfriend was 16 what would you do if he spends all his time with her when he's not working (at her house) and sometimes even sleeps over.

Yes, I am asking for myself. I have a good son (18 yrs old) and have only asked him to be home at a decent hour (by 2 am). He does work, but does not contribute to the household in any monetary way, does not go to school and does not do anything around the house unless asked specifically. I have three other (younger) children that idolize him and I do not want him setting this example for them.

Please give me your opinions.

I don't know what to do with him anymore. He's out of control, very disrespecftul, doesn't want to follow any of our house rules, goes out all night, thinks our house is his hotel and restaurant, doesn't care about anybody but himself, is rude, got kicked out of school last year, has been working for my husband (because nobody will hire him with a grade 9) since January and will loose that job if he takes another day off because he's too tired from having gone out too late (he's on strike 2 right now). I'm exhausted, frustrated, at the end of my rope, sad, depressed. He's been acting like this for almost 2 years now. I caught him stealing a couple of times (doesn't seem to have any remorse about it) started smoking cigarettes last year, drinks (but have never seen him drunk). I have searched his room many many times, never any hints of drugs (thank God). Please anybody!! Help me!!

My husband's dad took out a credit card in my husbands name. The family has been split up for about 5 years. His dad and mom got back together and he is now talking to both of them. It is very sticky situation. He told them it was his father, he denied he ever did it and the agency sold it to another agency. Now that they are talking he has to do it all over again. He talked to his dad and his dad said he didn't have the money to pay it. He doesn't want to get his dad in trouble. Is there any easy way to fix this? Anyone with any experiences?

my dad does nothing around the house, he always tells my mom, "iron my clothes wheres my dinner", "did you even clean today?". one time, my room was messy and he bagged stuff out of my room at 11 oclock at night to throw away and i was studying for exams... one time, he kept telling me my boyfriend was an asshole (and he was my ex) and i asked him if i could talk to him, (my ex) and he kept slamming my head on the floor... and idk. i'm in college now and he saw my boyfriend driving my car (my dad pays insurance, i'm a freshman) and he flipped out and told me i'm taking your car, and parking it behind the house, next time you're about to get in your car you call me. its like my mom will wanna go somewhere and he straight up will be like no you shouldn't go.

Okay, me & my mom get in to arguements all the time. But this funny thing is that she always starts them. It's like she gets bored & starts talking crap to me.
She tells me all this mean stuff & when i try to end it by saying, "Okay." or "Thats nice." She'll say "Quit being smart." & swat he hand back trying to make me flintch.

& if i say whats on my mind during an arguement, i don't cuss, swear, or anything like that, but if i say anything she doesn't like,
she slaps me in the eye, face, lips, head, neck, back..anywhere.
& if a tear falls out my eye, she'll say something like,
"wahh wahh cry like a little baby." i mean seriously, wtf.

One time i threatend to call the cops & she says,
"it won't do anything, im your guardianm im allowed too."

Is this right for her to do this to me?
I mean, she doesn't like hit me with belts & paddles anymore but she used too.

The hitting happens probably every 1 1/2 weeks, but the arguing is every single day.

I know what most of you will say. I just want advice and no judgements please... My sister is dating a sex offender. She is bi-polar and has issues with men etc.... She is going to marry this man. Even though he did not comit rape, he molested an underage female child of 13 years old. She has a high functioning autistic son. My sister has been unreliable in her decision making for years. I can not personally force her not to marry this man. The man is registered as an offender and admits to the crime and is going to counseling.

I can in NO way find it in myself that this marriage is OK. I understand that people can change however, should my sister be the one to find that out? My heart says NO.

If I expose him to my family, the realtionship will either be destroyed and my relationship with her and her son, or they will move away and cut us off all together. I'm not sure where to turn. I need advice.

ok, now before u start calling me dishonest and all that crap, hear me out. Somehow my brother hacked into my email. idk how, but he did, and he did it without changing my password, so I didn't know till like a week later.He's really really annoying. He writes emails to my friends in my account saying that I think they are really sexy, and I wanna make out with them. and also to my to some guys, telling them I've gone lez, and stuff like that. It's really embarassing. Can someone please tell me how to get him to stop? I've told my parents about him, but they don't believe me cuz I don't have proof. He won't stop. He emails my teachers, saying god knows what to them. I've had detention for 2 fricken wks. So does anyone know a way for me to get into his email real easily? I just wanna give him a taste of his own medicine. plzzzzzzz, I really need this!!!!

Every time she is in a bad mood, she verbally attacks me and I don't understand why. The things she says to me are very hurtful and demeaning such as "you've ruined my life" when I have done nothing to her. She then tells me to "stop playing the victim" when I ask my parents for advice on how to deal with her. I am almost to the point where I don't want anything to do with her anymore, but she is having my first nephew in a couple of months...
What can I do to make her stop?

my mum has been with this guy now for 13 years. He does not understand when she is telling lies when she is drunk. the thing is i came home tonight after 3 fosters after my mum coming to my mates house being abusive to me saying i will be locked out after 12 midnight. I then go home and my mums boyfriend has this baseball bat and he was going to go round there and beat people with it. whats the point? i then get a mood with him coz he was shouting at me. So i threw my keys at this clock on the fish tank. i see where they landed... when i went back they was not there. Here is them thinking im drunk. how the hell can u be drunk on 3 fosters? anyway we got into a argument about the keys. My mum i know took them because i remember insidence like this before. Ive even been arrested before by the police for their doings and ive took the blame for it. Recently I moved into my mother in laws as a temporary living situation for my child and I ( I am also pregnant) because the father of my children has made some bad choices. I have absolutely nothing going for myself right now. I am sick and tired of being dependent on other people. I dont ever want to be in this position again. Its such a horrible feeling not being able to take care of myself financially. I use his car depending on when he feels like letting me. I know I need to gain financial indepence but I dont know how to get there. No one will hire me pregnant and if they do I have to take time off in the near future to have a baby then daycare for my 2 babies will take my whole paycheck. My family lives in another state and I question moving back home again but then I struggle with that decision because then my children wont have their dad in their lives. I know moving home I have a lot of support and a family that I love and miss. How do I choose between the two?

hey guys...ok so here it is my mom and family want me to go into the air force but i have done told them that i do not want to go in and they wont listen but i have a boyfriend and i want to move to austin texas with him and his mom and go to college but my mom thinks she is going to force me into going into the air fore and thats illegal but im still going to austin but i want my mom to let me and for me not to just go and break her heart...oh btw she wants me to go into the air force because its her dream not mine....so yea please help me as much as you can.. thank you so much

I come from the M.A.Brown family. We're millionaires, my father is anyways. My father is the main source of income for our household. But my mother wants a job because she is bored with her life. She started working at KROGER and i was totally disgusted. How could she degrade my family so much? Anyways, the rest of my family was okay with it because well..as long as theyre rich it really shouldnt bother them.

Next part of the situation. Last year i was HARASSED by a retard employee at Walmart. It was all over the news. We had a lawsuit on them but at the last minute we decided to not press charges because we have better things to do with OUR time.

Now, the is the part that gets me PISSED. My mother, who i do not associate myself with anymore because she is TRASHY, wants to switch from working at KROGER to working at WALMART. I cant believe this, our family is so high class...how the f*ck could she even want to do this? She OBVIOUSLY doesnt need the pay! JUST WHEN I THOUGHT SHE COULD
