A fudgepacker? Whats that? Make up a name for him. An annoying one and so maybe he will get the hint. Or next time he calls you that tell him you don't like it and quit calling you that.

I don't know your dad,,,,you can tell him that he must really not like you because if he had any feelings he would know that you don't like being called names and he should stop..... some dads can be given a cold shoulder and not answering or disregarding what he says without letting on that he is bothering you......you can also add him a funny title to his title daddy...like yogi dad...or whatever irks him a little..without getting disrespectful.....if he asks what is wrong...tell him....I hope that you do have a good relationship with your dad that that he is irking you out of stupidity of just wanting to tease. I think that Tia is correct as far as patting him on the back goes and saying that he is the best teacher... good luck

What a jerk, I'm sorry. He's obviously ignorant and has no resolve for your feelings. I can't imagine a parent saying such awful things to their child. My mom used to put me down a lot and then I sent her a really long email saying how she was a terrible mother to me and so on and so forth and it wasn't nice at all, but I did it the most tactful way I could and now she's respecting me for the most part. Okay, first of all, your dad is just busting your balls, or if you are gay, then he is just mean! My guess is that you are not gay. So bust them back...buy some fudge and when your father comes around, just start shoving fudge in your mouth, and when he asks what your doing, say, I'm packing fudge. Or just bring home a really hot chick and say, no, I'm actually a muff diver.
Or even better a really hot chick and a big plate of fudge,and uh pack it somewhere

You don't say how old you are or whether you live at home. If you are under the age of majority this name calling can qulaify as abuse. If you are an adult and dont live at home you could just drop him from your life.. Sometimes our parents are only egg or sperm donors and nothing more. If they abuse you dont need them.

How do you normally respond to this? I'd say that if what you normally do doesn't make it stop, it's time to change up your response.
Also, maybe just talk to him alone sometime and tell him how much it bothers you. If that doesn't make him feel bad and stop it, then you've got a horrible father.
