Okay i got offered to go to california with me aunt to help her babysit her grandchildren. But then my couzin,my aunts daughter, also asked if i would be able to stay until november to help her because that's when her husband get's back from iraq.

Now i really want to go because i love to travel and that will get me out of texas and out to see new places. But the thing is, i know i am going to miss my nephew. I love him to death, and he is the only reason i am having doubts on whether or not to go. Now this is probably the only opprotunity i will have to go to california and get paid to babysit. But i just don't know if i should stay or go. I am always missing my nephew when he is not around. I know he's only 2 yrs old and he probably won't even get affected by me leaving, but i just can't stand being away from him for that long. Should i just suck it up and go, or should i stay home. SOMEONE GIVE ME THEIR HONEST AND NICE OPINION PLEASE!!!!

Dont pass up a chance to do something for yourself. Increase yourself every chance you get.

I came from Iowa to California. One of the differences I love most is that I can avoid snow. If I want to see snow, I can drive to see it and then drive home. On the same day I could also see desert, ocean, mountains, lakes, the biggest trees on earth, or just about any other terrain and then drive home. Or I can see big cities, or country like I grew up in. CA has just about everything in short enough driving distance for a one-day excursion. For one spot that can provide you the most variable experiences, its great.

I don't know if you are from a small town in Texas. You can not begain to believe how big L.A. is. I was scared to death, just the way the people dress is scarey. You will not fit in,you will not make friends. You end up sitting and being homesick. They are weird in CA.I moved, went their to live.Stayed 2 weeks and came home.
