Ok, I am planning to go home to my family, the man in my life says, that the only reason I am leaving is because I have over 20 boyfriends, i have tried to tell him that wasn't the reason, my kids aren't happy here and I have to do what I can to make them happy, Now he says that if I leave then I never loved him. It is like he is trying to make me choose him over my kids. which I will choose my kids first anyway, but he won't listen to reason, yes i know it's better to leave before it gets worse, but how can i make him understand i have to be the parent and help them be happy with life as well? Please help me. I am on my last nerve. I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. HELP!!!!!!

ok well i want to go to a college outside of my city. My parents wont let me go. the ysay if i get accepted into a school i really want to go to and it isnt near by then we will all move there. but i am the oldest and that means i would have to make my siblings move when they are juniors and seniors in high school and i dont want to have to do that, becuase i would hate if my older sister did that to me. I dont want to have to base my career on the fact that i cant move. there is no way that i can convince my parents either. I feel so limited because my state college isnt the best college. what do i do?

my grandson is 8, his father had nothing to do with him for the first 6 years, now he wants to change his last name to his. This has all started since my daughter is trying to get the $15,000.00 child support he owes. They live in iowa. is this possible or does anyone have ideas on what she needs to do now.

In this monthly total please include money spent on groceries, snacks, school lunches, lunch while @ work, and money spent on going out-to-eat. I am trying to see if my family spends less or more than the average. DO NOT include money spent on non-food items evry month, that is, on items like shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, hand soap etc.

i haven't spoken to my cousins for the past 24 years because their parents don't want their children to talk to me.My cousins have been told not to speak to me because i am not rich.My aunt was so scared that if my cousin speaks to me i might bias him and he might marry me .Now she is happy because her children are married to rich people and she thinks she was successful in keeping me away

Very close relationship with my mother until 7 years ago. I had my name removed from the roles of the Seventh day Adventist church. She was very angry...told me if I rejected the beliefs of their church I was rejecting her and my father...tried to maintain the relationship but was always being condemned (they believe you go to hell if you leave their church). She even hurt my children by not showing up for things important to them.

One year ago, she became angry because I wouldn't go to Hawaii with all the Adventist relatives she said, "you just don't want to be part of the family." She made it so. Silent treatment for two weeks..didn't tell me my grandfather had surgery twice...changed plans to spend Christmas with us..left our gifts in a garbage while we were away...then wants to know "what's the matter with me?"

Something happens every 2-3 weeks. I am always walking on eggshells. I have been very happy with no communication. She is the same...always right!!!

well i had been hurt my a close relative and now i have the chance to try at it, i dont want to get hurt again because i just cant handle it but im afraid that im just running and trying to save myself from the risk of getting hurt. i am also scared that if i totally break off anything that i will regreat it in years to come. ( im only a teenager), if you can help me please any advice is accepted.

My mom told me at age 19 that I another man was my biological father. She then took it back when she found I wanted to know more. I am now 44. My "real" father, the man I knew as my father has now passed and never knew the secret. Pictures and other siblings and friends from my small hometown confirm that I have a different biological father. I believe it is neccesary for me to know for medical, mental and spiritual reasons. I have uncovered his name and the story behind my conception. What recourse do I have if my mother is unwilling to co-operate?

My mother is the kind who puts on an act for the world. One min she is the nicest mom who ever lived and then the next she is threatening me to move out. I know she loves me but sometimes I wonder what she is thinking. For example, she complains that I do not communicate with her well enough. I call her and tell her where I go and what I am doing. I do not know what else she wants from me. She never tells me exactly what she wants. She will just yell at me and assume that I understand what she wats me to do. Please tell me that there is something I can do to prove myself to her and allow her to see that I am trying to make her happy. I have tried talking to her but that only makes her become defensive and angry. Please Help.

The mother lost custody of two older (7 and 9) children and is afraid if she seeks child support the father of the infant will start wanting visitation and she doesn't want that.

Should she seek child support and contact because the infant needs contact with her father?

P.S. What kind of person would impregnate someone and then not want to have any contact??????????

Ever since my dad walked out 5 years ago it has just been me keeping my mother company. But now that i am grown up I've realized that my mom is a pessimist, complains all the time, has a very short fuse, dosent drink or smoke- so she wont socalize with anyone who does so- and dosent have or WANT religon in her life.
HOW CAN I KEEP HER FROM LIVING A LIFE OF COMPLETE ISOLATION???
