I just moved to Colorado because my brother's girlfriend has a spa and I am a massage therapist. So there was a job here waiting for me. My brother also said he had some jobs for me to do for him. I will be living with them. The problem is, we don't get along that well... he's not the brother I remembered if you know what I mean. But now I feel screwed because I have to stay here and make money in order to do anything else! It's a difficult situation because my brother is paying me, but I am living with them. What should I be responsible for? What chores and the like should I do so my brother feels like he is not being taken advantage of, and what should I expect from him? I hate this situation, but now I just have to make the best of it and make the most money I can so I can leave!!! Help Me!

Well it is just because today my mom said that she would help me make a costum for hollween. i am being a fairy so i asked her to help to sew it . she said ok so i had my hopes up. i knew that she had to take my sister to her softball game at 11 so i though that would be enough time when she got home.but it didnt turn out that way my sister had to play another and another game and she wont be home till 6 . so i was woundering has that ever happened to you.

he is a beliver in the old way and the war in iraq he is wird he grew up in the quit places and think that healthy food is not good because it doesn't taste good even his parents have caught on to every thing that everyone does today he dosent care if i jab my foot or the cats he is wierd

i come from this kinda strict indian family..my dad is the kind who doesn't like his daughters getting calls from guys and stuffs like that..now i have found this really great guy and its gone to the extent that we wana get married to eachother...his parents know about us & i'm pratically @ his place most of the time during the day playing "daughter-in-law"..his parents are ok with us but his dad has asked me to tell my dad as soon as possible...i want to tell my dad but i just don't know how to tell him..pliz help!!!

I have brought my daughter up on my own without any help financially or otherwise from her Father. She has never heard from him.. I recently found out she is trying to find him. It wouldn't be so bad If she had asked did I mind? How do I tell her I know and how do I deal with it. The reason we broke up, which was actually before she was born ( she is 20) was because he hit me and tried to strangle me, he also stabbed his own Mother but she didn't press charges. How do I deal with this situation as at this moment I feel really hurt.

ppl criticize her. She cant seem to get organized and she breaks things when she gets angry. And when things are misplaced ppl blame her. I am her sister and I have Add as well but I seem to be doing better in school. she tried meds but it made her more angry. I want my sister to be happy confident and successful. How can I help? My parents are already paying for all the schools she went to and left without finishing them. They dont have money. Its really affecting me bc i cant be happy if my sister is not happy and I hate when ppl talk about us bc we learn differently. I just hate when ppl doubt us What can i really do?

That song with Bon Jovi earlier this year ("Who Says You Can't Go Home") really struck a chord with me. I have been living in the big city. I've reached the top of my career and met all my goals. I've been away from "home"--- my family and hometown for two decades. I really feel like I want to go back, but something is holding me back. I feel like I'm "selling out" if I go home. I feel like I will not be seen as successful if I return home to my small town. Should I go home? What are people's thoughts about this dilemma?

Most of the people I know are not close to their brothers and sisters as adults, even if they get along with them or like them. It seems like siblings are so very different from each other that as adults, they grow apart or even become estranged. Are you really tight with your siblings or are they too different than you for you to be truly close?

A lot of people-mostly my siblings- have a tendency to "drop in" on my family for visits. It's not that I don't want to see them- but they seem to drop in a lot while we're getting ready to eat dinner or getting ready to leave and I really wish they would call ahead- how can I ask them to not drop in anymore without hurting their feelings?

Well see I'm 15 and i'm planning on going to live with my gf's parents. But my mom is afraid that cuz of this she might have my lil bro taken from her. Is it possible for her to give temporary custody of me to my gf's mother or can she sign a paper givin me permission to live out the house and won't endanger her or my brother?

i have three children and my husband and i only get out about on an average of two times a year. his mother was the one usually who would watch them, but she has been ill for about 3 years now. so, due to not trusting anyone to watch our kids, we would opt not to do things without them, or pray really hard that his mother would say yes. but we would always get a disappointment with a last minute 'i can't'. anyway, we found a 15 year old girl who is willing to babysit for us on a regular basis when needed, my question is.....how do i pay her? meaning, by the hour, do i consider how many kids i have? i have no idea. she will take whatever we give her, but i don't want to jip her. the kids are 6, 5 and 3.

each time me and other members of the family walk in the computer room, my dad quickly clicks off what he's lookin at and leaves a blank screen or something to clear the system...how can i find out what he's lookin at. he clears the obvious history and doesn't leave files for us to look at. i know a bit about computers but not enough to know where to look.

I have lived with my dad for about 2 years and it was alright in the beginning but now it seems like everyday is getting worse, he doesn't let me do anything or go anywhere. But that isn't really the problem. I try explaining to him how I feel but he just shuns me out. He yells at the smallest things and tells me I should go live with my alcoholic mom so I won't give him these problems. Does he really love me? I understand he is stressed out, but so am I. I don't like playing the victim but I do have it harder then he does. Sometimes he makes me feel like he doesn't love me or doesn't want to take care of me. I have broken down and cried in school more times then I can count. Is this going to harm in the future? What can I do to make him understand what he is doing to me? I really appreciate any advice I can get, Thanks.

As an adopted child, do I have a right to visit with my biological siblings who were adopted by a different family? The adoptive parents don't want any contact but I know my brothers do, we lived together for several years before we were all separated.

Before my stepdad and my mom got married my stepdad was nice and all that..... now he is being a complete jerk... Hes giving me this nasty remarks.... (exp. Today my mom wanted me to clean my carpet and told me to ask him to show me. He said " im only gonna show you how to mix it..... You know how to read directions dont u...U know how to read....) He said it in a really nastty tone...) My mom told him once when he was being a jerk...but she had surgery on monday and she really needs him and wont say anything..... and He keeps talking about me because I cant cook..... and all this stuff.... Im crying right now...because hes hurting my feelings..... but i afriad to tell my mom because he does all this stuff for me but he is mean about it...what do I do because im sick of him being mean to me...and my mom seems to start taking his side....

i moved to her house, from my dads. just so i could actually be happy. but i got a few not-so- hot grades... and now shes like cuttin off my social life!!!
