I've lost a lot but I will never lose what's left of me. It is a very fulfilling way to live.
On a serious note...
I lost myself....
I wasn't afraid of life...
Very afraid...
Still am but I am trying to regain everything that I have lost.

I recently lost my engagement ring. It fell off my finger 2 days ago and I know it has to be somewhere in the house but it has just vanished.
It was special obviously because my fiance gave it to me, but also because i haven't seen him since July. He is in Bangladesh at the moment and we don't know when he will be back, I miss him so much.

The most important thing I have ever lost was my ability to love unconditional. I hope one day I can do this again. So as of right now I feel lost and empty.

I take it you are talking about material things. Yes I lost my address book when I moved from USA and it had contained the addresses and phone numbers for all my friends from all over the world. This was before the internet so I haven't been able to find them all again.

yes my gold heart pendant that my partner got me for our 1st anniversary, it came off on the bus, i called the bus company and they could not find it, i was gutted, even now after reading your question i feel a little sad because it was a very special gift from the man i love, he had it engraved with the date we met and our names on the back, when i told him i'd lost it he said it was ok and would get me another one, but it's not the same, he did get me another one but i wish i could have found the original

Yes, the loss of my beautiful sister at the tender age of 13 years in 1967, I still cry when I talk about her and look at her picture. Even writing this has choked me and brought tears to my eyes.

One time a bracelet my mother had given me came up missing from my jewerly box. A few weeks later one of my friends was wearing it. I told her I'll take that back, it has my name on it. She gave it back. I still have that bracelet and lost the "friend." I never trust a thief.

yup!!
my boyfriend,
we had to break up when he moved to the USA.
the sweetest thing i can remember him doing was that the night we met we all went to the cinema, after the movie i realised when we had left the cinema that i had left my hat back there. i was going to leave it but he wouldn't have it he ran back over to the cinema and shouted to the guy at the counter 'my gf left her hat in there and im gona go back there and get it wether you like it or not' (we wern't even going out at the time) well after that we talked and he asked me to go out with him. after a luvly year he told me that he had to move to america. my heart sank, i started crying right there. we had to break up because we both thought it was for the best. i really miss him and not seeing him anymore really hurts. he left for america with a piece of my heart and im nevaer going to forget him
