You have embarked on a serious mission, one that is rigged with booby traps and land mines. My cousin is married and has biracial kids. The sad part is that they are not accepted by anyone. They are not accepted as black, because of the white father. Whites don't accept them because they are black. They catch hell from both sides and done seem to fit.

When I was in the Far East, there were the same issues with Amerasians. the Korean culture is very strict about it and mixed kids are outcasts from their society. Had the same issues in Viet Nam. Many of the Amerasians from Nam came to America only to find they don't fit in either world.

There is no quick fix, no simple answer. My family loves the kids and tries not to treat them any different from anyone else in the family. But I am sure they do feel uncomfortable at times.

Good luck in the research you are doing. Maybe you will find the right answers to help these people out.

i think of that with the continued vogue of biracial infants, we would have a miles greater mixed society. i think of the greater this occurs the greater the panorama of excellent factors will replace. Genetics are a humorous component, it certainly relies upon on how good one trait is over the different. My husband is 0.5 hispanic, and 0.5 white. i'm white. we've 4 infants mutually, 2 of them have very dark epidermis shade, dark hair and eyes. they're certainly darker than my husband is. mutually as my different 2 infants are very mild skinned, almost diminished via nature with mild blue eyes and have been the two blonde as infants. however neither my husband or I have been blond as infants in any respect. despite the fact that, the two certainly one of our fathers have been. certainly one of daughters additionally has her super grandmothers nostril precisely. So all in all, any form of issues can happen. it does no longer additionally be surprising in case your toddler got here out looking totally african american or white- or a mix of the two.
