Parents are always going to worry about you. Even when you're older & married with children they will still worry. That's what loving parents do!

Your parents will always worry, I am a young mum and my daughter is 20, I still worry when she is out partying and arrives home at 4/5 am. The only thing that eases me is knowing that she is sensible and will always call me if she is stuck no matter how wasted/drunk she is. I suppose its a case of showing your parents that you can make sensible decisions and will ask for help if you were stuck?

First of all you are very lucky!!!! I've seen how parents let kids out to go play and they end up almost getting crushed by a car!!!! i know it can be overwhelming. gain their trust! that is the only way you can do it. If they don't let you go to parties or something talk with them. explain to them that you feel overwhelmed because they wont let you do anything and keep worrying about you. its natural for all parents. maybe you can make an agreement that they will let you go to parties and stuff if you tell them all about it later or make sure to call them when you get there or something. pretty soon theyll realize that your alright. but don't feel overwhelmed cuz all parents are gonna worry about you anyway!!!

feel lucky they care. this is a dangerous world we live in. when they stop careing is when you need to worry. also show some responcibility so they can see your making smart decisions. wining and crying isnt going to make things better but possibly worse. set down with your parents and open a dialogue I dont know the particulars of how old you are but at certain ages your parents have certain obligations and responcibilitys when it comes to you. time will come you will have to fend for yourself and make your own decisions. learn from them and be happy they worry.

Parents are going to worry no matter what you do. Be grateful that you do have parents like this.

The only thing I can think of is to think ahead of what their fears are before you venture out on a project, task, date, etc. and let them know that this, or this has been done to protect yourself.

Call them when you are out on occasion to let them know you are ok, just "checking in".

Parents will never worry less about you but the way you can get them to trust you and understand what you feel and how you are goin to be without them is to sit them down and talk to them. tell them where you are going and offer to text them maybe once during your activity to let them know how you are.try somethingy easy at first for example going to stay at a friends they know.tell them where you are going and whos going to be there.you have to let parents in on what is goin on in your life or they will worry more about you.hope this helps xx

If your an only child, i'm not sure that will ever happend! Be mature, make wise decisions, stay out of trouble, be grateful... I'm not sure to what extent your parent worry, but I see alot of children, whose parents don't even care if they are safe or not...be grateful you have someone who cares, but also... trust is something earned!

it is being overprotective, you're able to have a verbal substitute with them the two approximately how in charge you're, you would be unable to cause them to stop annoying, that must be carried out on their very own, some mothers and fathers subject greater desirable than others, the only subject that would help your subject is to go on you very own, interior the dorm or on campus. as long as you reside with them, anticipate the overprotection ordeals

You are very lucky, not everyone is lucky enough to have parents that worry about them and take care of them.
