It's his house, he gets what he wants. When you get to be a big grown up girl and have your own house, then you too can get what you want to.

WTF are you trying to say?

You said like eleven different things in less than a sentence which is about the length of a paragraph, confusing the heck out of me. Your father is a believer of the "old way" but doesn't like "natural" food, he believes that the war in Iraq is... what? That it's real? Of course it's real, WTF are you trying to say by including "the war in Iraq"? He grew up in a quiet place... so, because of this, healthy food is not good in his opinion? His parents are more contemporary than him... okay, that makes a little more sense, but WTF is this "doesn't care if you jab your foot" into a cat's butt or something?

You are a lazy writer and from what I have read you don't really care to explain what your are talking about to strangers because you only care about whatever is happening in your own world. You seriously need to learn how to talk like a competent, social person, if you ever want to get ahead in life. Maybe you're still a preteen, in which case you have plenty of time to learn how to effectively communicate. But if you aren't, then well I feel sorry.

When I read the title of this question, I was pumped up and ready to talk about how great artificial christmas trees were, and how I grew up loving the ease of decorating artificial christmas trees. But then I read your atrocious paragraph and it slapped me silly.

Just buy a small live one in a pot. Then you can plant it outside after your holiday.
