I didn't always get along with my brother, two years younger. I was determined that he was born to make my life miserable. I fought with him every chance I could. As we got older and past our teens, we became very close. I think because our father died when we were little, he felt it was his responsibility to watch out for me. I did appreciate the fact that he was my protector. We were roommates, friends and now both have families of our own. He even gave me away at my wedding. I know I can count on him for anything. I'm lucky to have him, didn't always feel that way. Appreciate your siblings, they are all you have and may need to lean on them someday.

shouldnt complain about your sibling, cherish the fact that you will have a close family member there with you when you are old and grey. i am an only child, i dont have any siblings. its boring and it sucks. i go out with my friends almost everyday but its not the same as having a sibling. people say im spoiled and i get whatever i want, but i would trade that for a sibling ;) lol i guess people want what they cant have lol ;)

I have two younger brothers and two younger sisters, and it seems as though I don't get along as well with my sister Kayla than with the others for some reason. Sometimes we can be friends, but a lot of times we'll fight because she always messes with my stuff and then loses it; she doesn't trust me and therefore always blames me when she loses some of HER stuff; she doesn't keep my secrets; she LOVES to get me in trouble; and she tells me she hates me 24/7. I think it's because we're so different from each other that we fight, but it might also be because we sometimes get jealous of each other too.

I get along very well with my sister... I'd say she's my best friend. I don't see my brothers very often, but if I needed them, or they needed me, all it would take is a phone call. We all get along well, none of us fight or argue with each other now that we're adults. We just seem to accept each other the way we are.... and ya can't ask for more than that.

my older sister and i always fight and she always makes fun of me for no reason-but my little sister and i are like best friends because our parents went though a terrible divorce and we were all we had to make each other feel better...sure we fight everyone in a while, but we never stay made for more that a couple hours. and for the most part we always come to each other with problems and we hang out all the time.

I have two brothers and a sister, and we're all tight. My sister and I are especially close, with 8 years difference (shes only 17,) she looks up to me, and that makes me feel awesome. I can't imagine being an only child, it would be so lonely!
We all have complaints, of course, but the benefits outweigh the minor issues we have with each other.
