THEY BOTH HURT

2006-10-29 10:37:55 · answer #1 · answered by take it or leave it 2 · 0 0

Losing a parent is never an easy thing. I lost my dad when I was 13 years old. I have come to realize that I don't know what would happen if I had lost my mom instead. She has always been the support in the family. My dad was more of mine and my sister's friend and although it was sad losing him I don't know if things would still be going alright if it had been my mom over him.

A mum even though i loved my dad and still to. my dad passed away when i was 9, im 21 now and i could not have coped if it had been my mum. it also depends on the situation and who ur closer to. but in my experience i think my dad would of sent me away to live with other family or something and plus he was a drinker so i dont know how that would of turned out. i miss him alot.

I think that depends on the person who is experiencing the loss. I lost my mom 4 weeks ago. I was sad but not as sad as I will be when something happens to my dad. Depends on what parent you are closer to.

I've lost both parents. It's terrible either way you look at it. When my father died in 1997, it was horrible. But when my mother died last year it was so much worse.

It was worse because I knew then that I was alone. Both my parents were gone. Forever. I think that is part of what made my mother's death more difficult.

It would hurt me both the same, I love my parents. I just lost my
father and if I was to loose my mom, then it would be the same.

You will miss most the one you are closest to. But you may feel worse about losing one that you need to forgive or be forgiven by. If you can, let each parent know that you love them. Try to keep a clean slate with each.
