My ex-fiance & I were together 4yrs. We had alot of love & affection for each other & for the most part got along well. The one major issue we had was his alcohol addiction & caused alot of arguments. It started getting worse at the end & after a very heated argument he walked. Its been two mths. He continued playing head games & gave me hope. About a mth ago he started seeing a married woman so I figured Id leave him alone (I still love him) so he could see that the grass is not always greener but, now I hear that as soon as this woman gets divorced she wants my ex to marry her. He has not said yes to her but, I am devestated. First of all, how can he be in-love with someone in a mth time where he would consider marriage especially with a woman who is cheating on her husband. Its obvious that he has an addiction so why would she want to jump from one marriage into one with an alcoholic. Can this possibly work out & could he still come to his senses & realize what he has given up?

Me and this guy have known each other for about 13 years and every year he has always gotten me a birthday gift..roses.. jewelry..all when we were like 6 and 7. He would always pick me up for dinner on friday nights and skating on saturdays. I was talking to him the other day and he told me that he straight up loved me. That there was no one else for him. But I am in Arizona and he is in Arkansas..we always loved eachother but not like this. its a real love.. it like a into the stars over the fence world series kind of thing. I dont know if it is love or not. Can you tell me? When i think about him I my heart feels like it beats faster and slower at the same time. We know absolutely everything about each other.. he is the only person that knows everything about me. please help me figure this out?

Well this guy friend said that he really like and care about me but I told him I was not ready for a relationship. He wanted to buy me a gift for my b day but I told him that you dont have to. Well then he told me that the same gift he was going to give me he was going to buy it for his other female friend for her b day. Then he said he will call me back the same day. He did not. Now he called me a month later. Should I call him back?
I still care about and miss him.

i have this boy friend and he been wanting to go out with me for a while but last year i had an boyfriend that i were with for about 3 years but it didn't work out. am started to really like this boy but i don't know if he really want to be with me or do he just want to **** me. i think we should wait for about 3 or 6 months before we have SEX but its like he wants it every day and i keep telling him no not yet....its not that i don't want to have sex with him its just that i want to see do he really want to be with me.when we are together i make him horny so i understand that, and on friday i supose to be going over his house and i told him i wasn't going to do nothing he said why go then.......i really need help cause i like him alot and i had sex before so yea....i just don't know what to think

My son wants to move back in with his wife to save money for a down payment on a house. I understand things are expensive today but I say no. My wife is all for him moving in. I am sure her and my daughter in law will soon bump heads and I really don't want to hear it. My point is they both work and make a good living, if they went out less and bought less they would have a down payment. My son argued with me that when I bought my home the houses were much less. He forgets so was the pay. We had no car and did not spend 150 on going out to dinner. I told him to get a second job after all I did it when I was young when we needed the money. Am I wrong here.

My mother in law has Alzeimer's. She is in the beginning stages and she has always shielded her 43 year old son from working. My wife cooks and cleans and takes care of her mother. She does all the work while her brother is expected to do nothing. He lays around and eats, watches tv and if my wife asks him to do something, her mother pitches a fit. My wife is tired of asking and just does it herself. I feed the family as I am the only one with a job. His mother has been paying for all the guys bills. My mother in law is maxed out because of paying my wife's brother's bills. But she still argues if anyone asks the brother to do anything. He is over six feet and in very good health. His mother has turned him into a cripple to keep him dependent on her. It does no good to argue with the mother in law. She is too sick. Her way of thinking is way off. My wife and I are very upset that he won't help out. My wife has to be at home for her mom.What should we do without upsetting her mom?

My father was abusive to my mother (one time she even went to the hospital because he hit her in the head so bad that she was bleeding) and when I was a kid. I could still remember when he beat me and my brother; I just to have bruses in my arms and legs. We had to take showers with only cold water. From the constant hits on my legs I had to wear something to straighten them because is just to walk with legs going to each side. He came drunk and hit us. I just hide under the bed or in the closet. That was only when I was 6- 7 years old (what I could remember). He was a lawyer and cheated on my mother 2 times in our country. One with a woman he met in a town, and the other time with his secretary. When I was 7 years old. He left to America with his secretary and married her. And he lie to my mother and his family, he first told them that he was going to be sent to another city for a little while to work and when he didn’t call for weeks my mother went to the place he worked and ask them if they knew how could she contact him and that’s when they told her that my father was cheating on her with his secretary and that the secretary hasn’t showed up for work for weeks too. When they called the family of the secretary, the family told them that she went to America. Days later, my father called my mother and told her that he only came to America to make some money. My mother was angry at the fact that he cheated on her and she as well beat me and my brother with a belt. After the woman he married (secretary) cheated on him with his best friend, he divorced her. He came to our country when I was ten and lie to my mother once again that he only married that woman for the papers to become a citizen. When he was there he only sent $300 a month out of the $600 in a week he earned. My mother worked day and night and i didn’t see her that much but when she was here during the week-ends she beat us with the belt when she got mad at us with no reason. We lived with our Grandparents house with uncles and ants that lived there. My grandparents took care of me and my brother. He only brought my mother to America and we stay back with our grandparents. When my mother was there with him, my father beat her constantly and badly (One time he throw her pee that he had in a bucket). After a year when came I was 12 year years old I came to America with my brother. He also beat us until my mother one time called 911 and he got arrested. He had to go to psychologist. He stop beating us for a while but one time he beat me and I was sad and cut my self with a scissor and every time anyone hit me I will go somewhere( closet), cry and cut my self. I stop doing that. It’s been 4 years already that I had stop, to be exactly. One time my mother caught my father one more time cheating on her. When she was driving she saw my father car behind Parth Mark and he was with another woman, but were not doing anything. The other woman was in the passenger seat smoking. Well, after that my mother forgave my father. My father no longer hit us. I was told my guy that lived with my father when he came that he used to hire prostitutes. But one time I called him, and a women answer her phone I check if I called the right number and yes it was my father number, My mother and I also saw my dad going somewhere but didn’t see where he enter while he denies it and says he was working. My dad also speaks when he is at sleep. And says “Reina” all the time.

My father went thru a lot of stuff when he was a kid and had 10 brothers and sister he was beaten by he father more badly than us. He had to work selling candies and if he didn’t brought back money he will be beaten by his father. His father cheated on he mother many times. He was poor and suffered for food and money. I try to understand his pain sometimes but yet I can’t seem to forget what he did to me.

I am 26 yr old mother of 2 a daughter age 6 and a baby son who is just about 6.5 months old.My daughters father and i were college sweethearts.We got married right out of college and had a wonderful life together for almost 5 yrs till he passed away.He was hit by a drunk driver went into a comma and passed 3 months later.Shortly afterward my ex.bf from highschool who had been my first everything contacted me as usual because we had kept in contact once or twice a year as old aquantances over the years(nothing more).He wanted to advertise to me about his new business an auto body shop.I told him what was going on in my life and he really listened to me unlike other family/friends who seemed disintrested.We became friends again remebering the good times all the fun we had and the very bad/sad times dumb fights,when i got pregnant had miscarriage,and we broke up 3 times.We dated on/off from 16/17 yrs of age-19/20.He told me his marital problems ..continued

I'm 16 and work part time at a store and the other day I was in the canteen and some lad said 'i'm well desperate for a shag i'd do anything at the moment' and this man from my dept whos like in his 30s,not knowing i was there, said 'what about (my name)'.
so later on in the day i just broke down about it in front of my manager (i was already having a bad day) and now hes saying hes gonna have word with the guy and get him to apologise. was i within reason to act like that or should i have just taken it on the chin and moved on?

I'm feeling a bit sad about this. Holiday shopping, decorating, watching xmas movies, seeing displays, parades, etc. I've done it all without my hubby because he says he's got better things to do. It makes the holidays feel very lonely.

I always dreamed of having cozy, family holidays - with the fire, and hot chocolate, and xmas cookies, and all that good stuff. Instead it's me, alone, wrapping gifts and listening to xmas music.

I don't want the rest of my xmases to be this way. What can I do to change things around? I've told him that it would mean a lot to me if he did some of these things with me, but he says that he's "too busy" (too busy usually means there is a football game of some sort on tv).

I am so confused by the last 24 hours events, and feel guilty for getting upset.
just over a year ago i found out i was pregnant with by someone i had been with just over a year. he told me he wasnt ready to be a father and wanted nothink to do with the baby. i believed that he was too immature and selfish to be a dad so decided i would be best a single mother. 3 months later i found out that someone who he hardly knew was expecting his child, and he was supporting her. i felt so let down and it took me a long time to except the situation. he frequently tells me that it is me who he wants but he's stuck with her. i have even been supportive to him about the other baby.
i have not long received a message off him telling me that the baby was born this morning and that he is happy.
i cant understand how someone who he apparently loves he can eave a single mother, and never see his child, but someone who he "doesn't even like" he can support. im just so upset about it all.
