Well this guy friend said that he really like and care about me but I told him I was not ready for a relationship. He wanted to buy me a gift for my b day but I told him that you dont have to. Well then he told me that the same gift he was going to give me he was going to buy it for his other female friend for her b day. Then he said he will call me back the same day. He did not. Now he called me a month later. Should I call him back?
I still care about and miss him.

Fergit about it. This guy is playing you and the other girl for whatever he can get.
He doesn't even care if you know he is giving another girl presents.
If you want to be friends, okay.
But don't call or chase after him....
look for a guy who doesn't have an 'agenda'.

Sure, call him back, but if he doesn't answer or reply right away, sit tight and wait for him to call again.
I don't know if I would like someone TELLING me he was giving his OTHER female friend the same gift. I think he was trying to goad you into feeling jealous. I don't like that. It's too sneaky and shows that he's a little untrustworthy.

It sounds like the absence has made the heart grow fonder. I say call him. What could it hurt? If you decide you want to date him, then it's a good thing. If, after talking to him, you decide you still don't want to date him, then you've only lost a 5 minute phone call.

Why not call him?
If he is uninterested - there will be signs/signals from his replies.
If he is committed - you need to be ready.
If he is not committed/unable to commit - he is still looking for something and you are not it.
If he is wavering - he is immature.
If he makes promises and does not follow thru - dump him - he will let you down in future.
Seek the answers from your head, not with your desire for companionship.
