Every couple is so different from the other it is tough to answer that one. But I think men often don't expect (i.e., "ask for'") enough emotionally. A lot of men tend think they need to play the macho, independent partner who doesn't need emotion and support from a woman. That, in turn, can leave the woman feeling left out, or unneeded, and the relationship unfullfilled.

On the contrary, I think women expect too much from men. All a man wants from a woman is sex, food, and a maid, in that order. Women need far more from a man than he cares to give.
I am referring to emotional support etc in my response. Men hate that part of a relationship. When we want to talk we are accused of bitching. If we want to cuddle instead of watch football we are called needy. It's a no win situation.

I think the problem is they make expectations without communication. If you directly said what you wanted in the beginning you give the other person a fair opportunity to decide whether or not they want to deal and vice/versa communication is the key.

I do not believe that men in general are like that. Sure, some do expect too much from women, but certainly not all men.

Hell yea they expect too much, not only do they want us to clean, cook, do the laundry, watch the kids, have sex every day if not once, but twice! I mean why do men think that just because they pay the bills that we are obligated to do every god dam thing! And F off if you tell me to go and work!

No. I don't think so.
I believe that women tend to invest emotionally a lot which inadvertently puts them at a greater risk of getting hurt.

Nope men just want to be respected as a man. If you look at all the things that guys ask for that's what it boils down too. Not much at all imo.

Yes we have to be skinny enough and big enough boobs an butt...everything has to meet there "standards" of a girl...its really annoying an iggnorant. Well thats most guys anyway.
