I am 27 male. My female friends sleep with me, but don't want to be in relationship with me! They say they don't want to ruin the friendship, (They think i'm their best friend, but I am NOT!) They are 20-23 yrs old and very pretty. I exercise daily and get my PhD in less than a year, and have job offers 100K. Whenever I tell them that I like them, they think I'm drunk!
What is going on?

My fiance and I are going to walk down the aisle together at our wedding, and since it's not traditional, I wanted to put something in the program explaining the reason behind it so no one is offended or anything. It's probably not necessary but I've seen other couples explain in their program why they've done things a certain way. Basically, we are walking down the aisle together because we've both been on our own for so long that no one needs to "give" me away (he's 32, been out of the house since 18 and I'm 29, out of the house since 18). Also, I think it's sexist and kind of retrograde to have the bride doing the "big moment" thing when everyone is staring at her. These are just my personal beliefs; I totally respect people who want to do things the traditional way. Any ideas of how to explain this nicely without offending anyone or sounding superior? I really don't feel our choice is any better than anyone else's. It's just different. Any help would be appreciated!

We've been dating for about 6 months. Recently I mentioned that they bug me, especially the one of Jenna Jameson and some other naked chick hanging in his living room, and he said he'd take THAT ONE down. But it still hasn't come down... Am I crazy to think that I may be entirely wasting my time wit him? Other than that, our relationship is pretty great, he is sweet and funny and pretty much everything I could ever want. But if he felt the same way changing something so simple wouldn't even be a question right?

ugh!
me and my ex broke up a couple months ago
he dumped me! i was surprized and both sad
at the same time! as i was walking home i saw
them makeout. he was like eating her up!
i felt like i never wanted to be born on this earth.
i felt a tear roll by and then bursted out crying.
however, two weeks before we were thinking about
getting back together but didn't get to that part....
he told me he loved me! i don't why he would
just do something like that! well, when i saw him
yesterday he was really happy && we talked for
a little bit and through the whole time we were talking
he was making eye contact with me and smiling!

i just don't get it!
DOES HE LOVE ME OR NO?

They're not a new trend either since white has only been around since the 1800s when Queen Victoria introduced it as a sign of wealth. Prior to that, brides wore whatever they owned, usually in a bold color. So why do many people think it is a cardinal sin? White and ivory aren't that flattering on many people so why should they not be allowed to wear a color that does flatter them without being ostracized as being weird or having no class whatsoever? Traditions change in every generation so why can't this one change too if someone doesn't agree with it or feel comfortable with it? It's not something that is infringing on the guests' comfort which is what etiquette (something else entirely but incorrectly lumped into being the same thing by many people) is intended to preserve.

Hello everyone, for some reason my account was suspended. :(

So, anyways, I'll get over it.

My girlfriend, our relationship on the rocks, asked me today why i am ignoring her.. I said I thought she wanted some space (many of you suggested this), and she said no, but she doesn't want me to ignore her. I wasn't ignoring her, but I didn't talk to her unless she initiated the conversation (giving her space)... So what does this mean?

In a previous question, people suggested to me that I gave her some space because she was stressed and needed to think about our relationship.

What advice would you give, in a case that a person was previously in a long term relationship and you feel like they are the one? I know they dont want to come off strong or be too pushy. However what if, the other person does not know that. Also, given time needed before a new relationship is started how long should one wait or linger around. When they meet both were in a relationship, now both of them are single.

we live next door to eachother. we dated for almost two years. we are both single parents with custody of our kids. he had been talking to some older MARRIED lady at work for the past two months behind my back. so, then he broke up with me, saying that he likes me so much, but he doesn't love me. anyways, i am going nuts thinking about it. he goes to work third shift and i know that she is there. i hear his car coming and going out of his driveway. i'm literally going nuts! i'm having horrible panic attacks, especially when i hear him or when i am on my way home from work. also, he wants his cake and eat it too...he wants to remain friends. any suggestions on what to do? and, please, be nice, i'm having a very difficult time right now and i don't need a smart ***. thanks in advance. oh, and i cannot move. i have kids who need stability and i have a great house with unbelievably cheap rent. ( he owns his house and is not leaving).

my husband and i have been married for 2 1/2 years we have 2 beautiful children. 19month old boy and 4 month old girl. Ever since we have been together my husband has found little ways too lie to me and i just cant understand why he does this. First it was too impress me, he lied to me bout material things that he didnt have, then it was bout financial things, now he just bough a snow machine and he told me that in the price he paid he got 2 helmets and 2 jackets. So that was cool i was pretty impressed. 3 days later i found out he had paided 350$ for the 4 items.plus the price of the sled. Ok im getting pissed. then just this evening i found out that he had to pay another 150$ for one of the jakets that he never told me bout. So i ask him why did you lie and he said.. ooh well i didnt lie i just kept it from you cuzi didnt want you too think it was too much. we've had all these items for a week now and hes kept this from me. what do you think??

I got grounded because my parents are making me study for my midterms. Last week, the girl I like invited me to a show that is this weekend, but I can't go because of my parents. I told the girl today, and she seemed a little upset, and asked me to beg my parents, but I said there was no chance but I'd try anyway. She said ok but I don't know if she took what I said as "ok he doesn't like me" or "ok he really does want to go because he does like me" Well, my question is, what should I say to her to get the point across that I like her, and as of now, does she like me? (Sorry I couldn't be any more specific.)

ok, i am 16, and so is he, and i know this is going to sound really immature. im going to start from the very beginning. i met him at the beginning of this year, and i wasnt initially attracted to him, he liked a girl in our class, and after a while she told me he asked her out, and she said no. then after a while him and i sat together in class, and we started talking, and i said something about her, and he said yeah thats why i got over her. we flirted all the time, and we had fun, but we never really talked outside of class except for the odd hi. but you know when a guy looks deep into your eyes and you cant help but feel he likes you, well that was how it was. anyway, so since a couple of days ago he has been acting weirder. i have to add, i have been flirting a little more obvious like touching his arm, and stuff like that. and i dont know what the deal is. can you tell me please?
and i have to add too that he is pretty popular and is friends with most of the hot girls. and im not anything special either, i get a lot of attention from guys, but i have curves like Scarlett Johansen but i like them. i have a great personality and people think im funny, but i dont know. how would i really compare to them?

I guess an ugly guy, like me can't fall in love unless he knows the one he likes is ugly too
I think this girl do like me
But maybe it is just my imagination
She is too good looking for me
The only advantage I got is that I am in a higher class then her.
But that’s not that really important.

My Ex girlfriend of 5 months broke up with me last week because she said she was depressed and needed to work things out. I understood. She never told anyone of our relationship. I thought she told her ex 3 or 4 months ago because she told me that but he just told me she never did and he didn't know. Her ex before me just told me that she told him she's dating another guy. And I always see this guy in her room now. I'm so hurt and confused, should I confront her about this or just take a clean leave and never speak to her again. She still calls and IM's me everyday, so she will be suspicious if I don't ever talk to her again. I'm so hurt and lost. What should I do? I felt used as rebound and taken advantage of. Please help.

My mother has never been a mother to try to keep her children in harmony, she shows favorites with one of her daughter that has always been with her(she never lefted home)that she allows to run her life giving her rights to make a lot of her decisions, then when my mother argues with one sibling she'll involve the others causing conflict, then turns around when everything is fine with the favorite daughter she will talk to her about the others. Yes, its quite messy, I am glad I was able to move far away from them to help me see, and learn how healthy other families lifestyles can be. My family is very unhealthy mentally there is more drama and I can handle it so I have made up my mind to stay away. When I do stay away they start hunting me down wanting to talk to me (WHICH BRINGS ME DOWN)I think my mother is not sane and my sister too b/c she's learned the disfunctional behavior from my mother. I was an emotional and mental mess b/c of our up bringing which was sad. What can I do?

I might be losing my job. Part of me doesn't want to tell my husband because if it turns out I don't lose my job, then he would have been all worried for nothing. But another part of me thinks I should give him some warning in advance so he doesn't come home one day to the news I was fired and be completely floored. What should do?

Two hypothetical people have been dating for quite some time. Both are virgins, disease-free. Both are committed to each other even if a child were to be conceived, both are heavily against abortion and heavily for a family united. Both feel that God wants sex to be between two committed partners, not necessarily marriage. They have verses to back this up. If proper protection is used as well, what else is left? Is there any reason not to?
