My boyfriend says he left his job to spend more time with me? If it is a kind thing, how can I show him my appreciation?

Well....I think he is lazy and does not want to work and is using your feelings for him to justify his quitting work. Look at it this way, if he has money the two of you will have the funds to go places and spend time together. If he does not well what is he going to do, spunge off of you ? I don't think there is anything kind about this..

Why the heck would he do that? :/ A 'kind gesture' would be KEEPING the job so that he can earn himself money and PROVIDE for you - what use is he going to be to anyone if he's unemployed? :/ Sounds to me like this is just an excuse to be lazy!

Tell him that it was a sweet gesture but that you want him to keep his job for his own good. Make sure he knows that you don't want to be selfish with his time.

Hes not being very responsible, is he? You dont just leave ur job for a reason like that. I wouldnt be impressed with it.
