Try this:
1. Find you a nice IM chat buddy.
2. Say erotic things to him and put down your husband.
You will find out if there is something on there. Trust me.

I dont know for sure, but this is what I have been told...
Supposedly there are two ways of doing it. Either an actual device placed on the back of the comp that plugs in, or a software program from the network.
If its an actual device, you would be able to see it If it is a soft ware, you would notice your comp going significantly slower.
However, I do not know for sure if this is accurate. There is a computer and tech board on here. I think you will get better answers if you ask over there

well if it is a real program it should be listed either when you press ctrl alt del and go to prosesses, look for anything odd that is using up a lot of power then google it, if it's bad end the task. If he's using a back door trojan i would get spybot search and destroy, it's free, google it and it will save the day

Key loggers can be software or and external device that is plugged into the keyboard cable.
Not all software is visable and tracking software are usually designed to look like system software.
In all truth if its a cheap track you can find it easily, if not good luck.

you won't find it if its there. Keystroke programs are discreet and hidden well. Dump the cyber boyfriend and then you will have no worries.

Go to add/remove programs and see if anything new is listed. If it is you should be able to uninstall it.
