I started seeing a guy 4 months ago he chased me down asking me on dates for months. He was married before and has been divorced 18 months, they were only together for about a year. She initiated the divorce & totally destroyed him, I was there when he came back home with nothing, I saw the pain he went through. We kept the relationship fairly quiet as neither of us knew what to expect & didnt want to have to explain to everyone if it all went wrong, 2 days ago he said he was too scared to move to the next level, too afraid of being hurt again, he said he would rather be alone forever than go through that again. I said we could take it as slowly as he wanted, he said he couldnt give me 100% and that was not fair on me, then he told me how much he would miss me and how sorry he was that it had to be this way, he thought he was ready but not just yet, its still too raw, I am not going to wait for him as that could mean forever, what do I do to make him see he is still letting her win?

Wedding dresses, help?!?
I am having SO much trouble finding a dress for me!

3 weeks before the birth of our 1st baby my husband told me he didnt love me anymore - completely out of the blue! I found out a few days later that he was having an affair. I confronted him, packed a bag and walked out of our marriage. The affair is still on but he still denies it (really spineless) Will he ever regret what he has done & realise how much he has hurt me - dya think he will ever try to crawl back? I've been talking to this guy that lives 2 hours away from me. He is 30, which is 5 years older than me. He is a very nice and caring man. We are 'In A Relationship' together!! The thing is though, I have no heard from him (or chatted with him on AIM or through e-mail) since like Thursday I think it was. ALSO, he goes bowling some nights....Sometimes poker, and sometimes plays pool. He says its with his friends. Should I be concerned?!?
We haven't met yet. We haven't talked on the phone yet.

I called him yesterday like 2 times and texted a few times also. Heard nothing back!!!

firstly I would like to clear the fact that i did not allow the relationship with my friends husband to go anywhere when he made a move.
My friends husband and i work together and and had to travel interstate for the week. While we were there we went out to dinner etc as friends. then at the end of dinner as we were returning to our rooms (seperate rooms) he decided to kiss me on the lips. I did not kiss him back but instead stood back looking very confussed. He apologised to me and said he just had to do it( before you ask neither one of us were under the influeance)
I am friends with his wife and have no idea if i should tell her or keep it to myself. Her husband swears he has never done that before and wont do it again, basically begging me not to say anything.
My friend has 2 children to this man and i dont want to destroy the marriage but if i keep quite and he ends out doing it again to her i would feel guilty for not warning her
Should i tell her? and if so what should i say

in other words, to avoid cheating, why don't men just marry someone who they would normally cheat with whether they be prettier or skinnier or more sexual than their wife (if that makes sense). that way they won't go looking for that after they marry.

I am leaving my abusive husband, and in the past 7 months have gained 10 lbs because i have not been working out. I usually get a's and b's in my classes, but i just completely bombed a final due to fighting with my soon to be ex which resulted in a D in my class. I am a military vet, and currently am riding off of my GI bill ( which is a small set amount of money for college from being in the military) and we have 2 children. I have'nt landed my last two job interviews, which is odd for me. i just feel like everything is falling apart. is this stress common?

i broke up with my ex in may bc he was a jerk. i was out of sight out of mind for 4 months, and i see him when i go back 2 work 4 months later and i ignore him. I will try to make this as short as possible
My bf and I got into an argument last night
During the argument, he insulted my parents saying that they need a hobby instead of calling up on checking on me
I said maybe they should be like your parents then and take up drinking (his mother was an alcoholic and went 2 AA, his father isn't too far off)
He then went on to say that my family is poor and doesn't have a pot to piss in, etc
We made up after the argument, and then he told his parents what I had said about them and now they are mad at me
I don't think his parents should know everything about this argument
Also, I apologized after what I had said, which he failed to tell them

My wife left me two weeks ago and said she needs some time alone to figure out why she feels the way she does. we have been married for 2.5 years and together for 5 she said that she doesnt feel special anymore and doesnt know if she is coming back or not I love her more than anything in this world and would do anything to get her to come back so I can show her how special she really is to me . would someone help me figure out what i should do besides give her time away from me.we have never had any bad arguments and have always gotten along great. also she just started working a night shift job as a nurse and i think that might have something to do with it
