there is this really sweet dude that likes me. and he went to my old school. and i moved this summer. and he startes talking to me making up this sob story about the long distance girl he likes, and asking how i could help. give him some advice, then, later i realized it was me he was talking about. and i tottally dont like him. and he was about to tell me it was mee he was talking about, then i said i had to go. i was lying of course. how do i tell him i dont feel the same way, without feeling bad, because he asked me out last year, and i said no, and when making up that story, and said that he thinks the girl has changed, and i havent at all!. i still dont like him. what to do?

Just tell him the truth. You don't have to be mean about it.Just let him down easy.

Tell him the truth because honesty is the best policy. Let him down gently and tell him that you don't want to ruin a good friendship by being involved in a relationship. Don't tell him rudely that you don't like him. Be nice about it. Good luck.

Tell him, kindly, but firmly, that you're just not interested.
Letting him string himself along is unkind.

Okay, if he tells you he likes you, tell him you don't like him like that. You like him as a good friend but thats all. Tell him youre sorry.
