One of my girl friends wants me to meet one of her friend's friend...apparently she saw me at a dance and thought i was cute

should i go for this? i'm the guy who has never been on a real date before, and i'm 25 (i never really pursued dating in my life)

i've usually been shy in approaching girls but lately my confidence is rising, should i go for this and try it out and see what this girl is all about? i've never had anyone try to 'hook me up' with someone but who knows? thanks for any advice.

i met a girl at a party, we made out a lot,she was my first, so she is a bit important to me,i got her facebook.,...i was in contact with her through facebook. she seemed interested cuz she's always like " aw" , " you are so cute"...after 4-5 days i said i want to see you again and she said she would love to...the day after, i said to her if saturday is fine but she said "sadly im busy" i got her phone#...the day after i called her after i got off college and it was her answering machine and i left a msg. i said choose b/w sunday and friday,i can get off work earlier if you want ...but suddenly she stopped talking to me...well i didnt want to sound like a desperate guy so i didnt talk to her anymore until 2 days ago when i was on msn and she bacame online and she started talkin,i talked to her like i dont care at all and she was like" im soo sorry i lost my cellphone and i was so busy that i couldnt send you any msg and i feel so horrible" and we talked for like 2 mins,and that was it.

My husband and I met when I was 15....we have been together for 12 years now and married for 8. We have two beautiful little girls. He is in the Army and right now, he is on his FOURTH deployment in the past 8 years. I love him with all my heart and we were honestly happy....DON'T get me wrong...we have had our rough patches but I never doubted for a second that we would make it through. Well, I found out three weeks ago that he has been sleeping with my "friend" for the past 4 years. She is a married women with three children....and our husbands were close as well. Well, I confronted him with this about 2 weeks ago (via email) and he called me for the first time, last night. He waited TWO WEEKS to call me, claiming he "didn't know what to say." He told me that he never loved her....that it was only sex.....he loves me and he doesn't know why he does the things he does. I would love to hear from men/women who have done this to the people that they love.

Hi. I have been feeling terribly depressed lately. Down to the basics, I can't find a guy who will actually love me, not just being a complete jerk, rude, bossy and won't actually care for me. I have been having alot of stress with acting, my career, and being well, lonely.

I'm the 23 year old daughter of very protective, somewhat overbearing parents. Last year I had planned to move out, but they talked me out of it because my Dad is like paying rent is "flushing your money down the toilet".

But I'm tired of living under their roof and being away from my boyfriend (the Army moved him to Texas). I've decided that this summer I am going to move to Texas.
