If you caught someone stealing from you and you kicked his butt for doing so, the fact that you are 14 just makes it worse for him. Hopefully he will learn a lesson. Thou shall not steal!!

While it may not be "normal" you did nothing wrong!

Well,my son has always been smaller than most kids his age,so he has always had to prove himself. This being said,he has also taken on older people than him.We had a neighbor kid who was 17 that would pile drve my son head first into the ground when he was 10.One day,my son decided he had had enough.I walked out the front door in time to see him bring this kid to his knees.Because of the other kids age,I could not lay a finger on him without getting in trouble. So,I taught my son self defense, and this is how he took out someone so much larger than him.As far as hurting the 20 year old,I would not worry about it.It sounds like he needed a good ole fashioned butt kicking.

Sure is, if he's trying to steal your wallet. I've heard of 80 year old grannies beating up 20 year olds to protect their purse.

Of course, I'm assuming that you don't randomly beat up people for fun. That wouldn't be normal.

um...who is this 20 year old? is he related to you or just some random guy on the street? i wouldn't say it's exactly normal, but you have to do what you have to do in order to protect yourself and the things that are important to you (such as the $ in your wallet) so i don't think you were wrong or anything.

Age has nothing to do with it. It is wrong to beat people up. Ultimately you will be the one who suffers from this kind of behavior. You could accidently kill someone. It is not worth it. If he tried to steal your wallet you should have called the police, it is their job to deal with that sort of thing.

It's never normal to beat anyone up, its shows a that a person has lost control. Beating up someone is different than defending yourself.

You should not be beating on anyone.
