with the divorce rate so high and the attitude well i can just get a divorce do you think that there should be requirements to get married? what do you think they should be? if you are married how long and is it your 1st or your 50th lol.

Alright there is this girl I really like, she has the greatest personality, is funny, athletic, smart, and beautiful. I went way too fast and screwed up the first time, and when I asked her to homecoming she let me down softly. Now I have tried to back off so I don't look like a stalker.

Since then she has opened up to me. She starts conversations with me, she is hyper when I'm around, she flirts with me. We have even gone snowboarding together a few times and hang out.

What would your reaction be if a couple months later, a guy says to you "you know, after you let me down I've tried to get over the fact that you don't like me. But somehow your personality and smile speak to me in a way that make that impossible"

I look deep into your eyes as I say that with true sincerity on my face. It comes from inside, not some cheesy thing that doesn't really mean anything. What would your reaction be girls? Would you give me a chance?

my friend T and her boyfriend A have been "dating" for almost 6 months. they never call eachother- and i'm not exagerationg, they havnt called eachother for about a month and a half; they havnt held hands before, they havnt kissed before, A is ALWAYS flirting with other girls, A acts like an asshole all the time by being a jerk to T's friends, T admits A is an ***, T says she's going to look for a different boyfriend but hasnt yet; and T and A havnt been on a date before. is this even concidered a relationship or should this last?

There's this guy named Peter or "peter_sheila4evr" but I found someone else named Sheila or "sheila_peter4evr". She says she has cancer or something, and HE says she is pregnant. Today my bf and I where at school. I asked him if we should hang after school. He told my that he's going on a sudy date with Angie. He asked me if I wanted to go. I told him that I really don't like Angie. She runied my last realationship with my last boyfriend. We never talked since. He told me that he's going to go wether I come or not. I know that having kids is a natural progression of a relationship after marriage, my question is this, do you think children put a strain on your primary relationship causing most to fail? Would your relationship be better and stronger without children, so you could have more time as a couple? Dose anyone regret having children period, and wishes they would have remained child free?

Is it selfish not to want to share your spouse/significant other, and want all of their attention and affection? If you were to leave your marriage for some unforeseen reason, would you even consider having more children with another woman or date a woman who has small children?

I love my kids but I sometimes feel selfish and want undivided attention and affection, you know, my wife back all to myself, me and her against the world. Am I wrong to feel that way sometimes and do any other people feel this way?

I met this girl for the first time at my college the other day, she was the most gorgeuos thing ive seen in my whole entire life, anyway i decided to give her my number and thought i could have glance of luckiness and she might txt/ ring me , guess what she did (not on the same day ) we thought we should go on a date on sunday so we went and bought 2 cinema tickets and had something to eat in a resturant (high class and fancy) i got her a taxi to her house , we walked around a little and had chat and there wasno problem anywhere - nothing that i would see- i paid for everything that night and it all went well - i didnt kiss her on the lips becuase i thought she might be uncomfy with it but we held hand and etc...

Anyway i havnt hared of her for 2 days even tho she said she would call me the day after ...

What should i do ?? What could have she thought of me?? I cant get her out of my head ... been thinking about her for 2 days staright ...

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but something I've noticed a lot on here is that folks in the marriage and divorce section (which is probably indicative of people in general) tend to look upon those who are in dating relationships but unmarried as not in 'real' relationships. Case in point: I read a question by a woman who had been with her SO for six years - longer than a lot of folks who are married - he cheated on her, she was devastated, and the advice she got here was just to 'forget about him, find another one' - that would not be said to a married person.

Another thing - do you think that unmarried cheating is as bad as married cheating? Isn't a committed relationship a committed relationship?

Many married people also think that being unmarried denotes immaturity or being young - not so. Many people have various reasons for not being married, and most are not those. Many people choose to remain together, but unmarried, as well.

ok i know this is kinda long but plz help me!
yesterday,in the middle of the day, supposedly, i was talking to my sister about a song. then later that day, i was talking to her again about that conversation. then she replied "what convo? that never happened? what are you talking about" i am so confused. i sware it wasnt a dream, i wasnt aslepp at all! i feel that this happened, but she said it never did. i started freaking out and then i went to go let my DOG in and she wasnt coming to the door for the longest time. i then looked away from the door, into my house, and then i looked back at the door and i saw what looked like a man. but it was really my dog.my dog does not resemble a man, but it looked like it. what is going on with me!!!!!!

Do you always fall for the more beautiful woman? My friend and I (both 40-ish) have joined a singles group, and she is really beautiful (not in a cheap, made up way, but in a natural way) and I'm more the cute, funny girl-next-door. I know she'll get all the attention at first, but do I at least stand a chance in the long run? Before he was shy, dark, and didn't talk much and used to look at me a lot. Today though, he was the complete opposite. He was annoying, like, he kept on hitting me with a plastic spoon (and had the audacity to say i was annoying after i grabbed onto it so he'd stop), and throwing towels at me. And cause he saw a condom in my backpack (although suffice to say i was dumped a week ago and i don't think he knows im single) he started saying i like to do it with whipped cream and stuff. I asked him what the hell was wrong with him and stared at me in the eyes for a while and said 'you know me'. I have no idea why he changed, maybe cause he started to feel more comfortable around me cause im a senior and he's a freshman (high school) What do you think?
