soon to be ex husband has a live in girlfriend that has her children taken away from her by CPS, I do not have the full story I just know that it was from neglect. How do I insure that my child cannot and will not be able to be left alone with her, even though she will not be named in the divorce, can i still legally require them to have supervised visitation?

I made the mistake of cosigning a student loan for my vindictive wife. We are now going through a divorce after only a year of marriage. In her divorce papers she asked for me to pay one 1/2 of the student loan that I cosigned on. Can I be forced to pay on the loan even though i was only trying to help her get a lower interst rate by cosigning for her?

I was asked to be a bridesmaid from a friend that I have known since 5th grade, since 10th grade we have really lost contact. Seven years later we started working together, but not even hung out once since then and that has been six months.

She recently got engaged and is going ot be married in January and asked me and 2 girls we were friends with in 5th grade through 10th grade (the other two were still good friends through 12th grade with her). The other two girls declined being bridesmaids and I accepted.

I did explain that since I am unemployed and just had a baby 10 weeks ago I could do it as long as the dress wasnt expensive and I could make payments on it. After getting fitted for the dress it is going to cost 130 before the cost of alterations and I cant make payments. It has to be paid in full before being ordered.

How do I explain I dont have that much money to just fork out for a dress right this second? She said dress has to be ordered asap for prompt delivey

My wife and I have been married a little over a year and now are going through a divorce. She has contributed nothing towards the home or even the marriage. I have paid the bills and came into the marriage with all property excluding one used vehicle. She is now asking for one 1/2 the equity in the house. How is it possible that she can live bill free for over a year and then walk away from the marriage further ahead then when she came into it? She has also asked for one 1/2 the pension and 401k i have worked nearly 20 years to obtain. What right does she have if any? I have been told that the duration of the marriage has a bearing on the division of assets but what is considered a proper length for a marriage?

My daughter (23) and I got into a disagreement earlier today over her son and correcting him. She was making him stand in a corner for NOT answering a question. I do NOT have a problem with correcting him, but after 10 minutes of making him stand there crying, I informed her of how long he had been standing and asked her to at least let him sit down in the corner. Needless to say,,,she told me 'NO', so after another few minutes, I just told her, that I felt she was being unreasonable and that she needed to allow him to sit. It got to the point I just told her that if she was determined to make him continue to stand that she needed to correct him at her house and not mine...So she stormed out. The grandboy's didn't even get to tell me bye. My question is:: Was I really being unreasonable and a terrible mother?

We have been married for 14 years now and the last 5 years has been hell for us. We argue he has anger issues and we dont communicate. and I notice that recently I am having anger issues as well, which is not me at all. I really hate the whole situation. They can be drop-dead gorgeous, and I just get into my shell and tense up and I shut the hell up.

Why? Any cure?

Maybe I feel like I'm going to screw it up. Or it seems totally wrong; against my view of the way things should be or something (where in the way things should be, mabye I'm not supposed to be attractive to women in that way).

Aaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! lol.

My husband says he is obsessed with looking at porn. He admitted to sharing nude photos over the internet with another woman who he talked to over the course of a few months (would you consider that cheating?). He also said that he has a secret obsession with violent sex in which he has complete control over the person he's with (like violent spanking, boot licking...things like that). He has never told me he was in to things like that, he has always been kinda timid. If he goes to counseling can he ever get over this? Has anyone else ever dealt with a situation like this??

i'm an indo-canadian girl. my dad doesn't like my mom's side of the family. from wut i know, this fight has been going on even before i was born. he accuses my maternal grandpa of selling girls and my mother of being a slut. i don't believe in all this so he gets hurt and drinks alot. sometimes he accuses me of wanting to be a prostitue, only when he's drunk. ilove him to death and he does too. Because he cares about me alot, he is very protective. we used to be real tight when i was young.They have spent over 20 yrs with each other. my mother is the world to me and without her i prolly would have been dead if she hadn't stopped me. i can't move out because my dad would kill me and accuse my mother of my upbringing. also, i'm the only child and i'm a girl which made matters worse when i wuz born cuz girls aren't really good for carrying on their father'sname, boys are preferred. i want to get rid of everyone's problems but my parents won't get a divorce. what should i do?? i am only 14 years old
and
he first said it when i ask him for piercings
he told me if i ever get them he will disowned me
so i stop asking
but

this past few months i was doing bad in school
and my mom and my dad were mad because the teachers called them this past week that i need to bring my grades up if not i will get kicked out of the school [i go to a early college high school]
well my dad is the one that got mad he was saying on how
ashame i should be if i got kick out of that school but i could careless because i am just staying in the school for my friends.

well i haven't clean my room and well my mom got tired of telling me to clean it so she send my dad
and then he told me that
that i have to clean my room
and then he blames saying i am the one that doesn't want a happy family and if thats what i want he can disowned me
also because he doesn't want messy people in his house
that this monday he will start investigating about it.

My son is 15,and i have been getting child support for the last 8 yrs. Now it is time for a review the first review we had since my son has been getting it. So the other day i dropped my son of at his g-parents house. And they had the nerve to ask me about it they "my sons g-ma asks me did you get your child support papers in the mail because tony got his. now I am 33 and my sons dad is 37 and we are both capable people.
