i'm an indo-canadian girl. my dad doesn't like my mom's side of the family. from wut i know, this fight has been going on even before i was born. he accuses my maternal grandpa of selling girls and my mother of being a slut. i don't believe in all this so he gets hurt and drinks alot. sometimes he accuses me of wanting to be a prostitue, only when he's drunk. ilove him to death and he does too. Because he cares about me alot, he is very protective. we used to be real tight when i was young.They have spent over 20 yrs with each other. my mother is the world to me and without her i prolly would have been dead if she hadn't stopped me. i can't move out because my dad would kill me and accuse my mother of my upbringing. also, i'm the only child and i'm a girl which made matters worse when i wuz born cuz girls aren't really good for carrying on their father'sname, boys are preferred. i want to get rid of everyone's problems but my parents won't get a divorce. what should i do?? HELP PLEASE

You should develop yourself in such a way that you are able to get a good job and are able to to support the family kitty substantially. With easing of financial problems, the quarrel between your parents may decrease.Most of the quarrels in any family has finance in its core. You will increase your importance in their eyes and they will not ignore what you say.
