There has been a recent issue in my relationship that almost spun out of control last night. We are a young engaged couple (I'm 30 & she is almost 20) renting a place together. We already have two relatively young dogs (under two years old) and one 8 month old kitten / cat. My fiance really loves animals and my enthusuasm is nowhere near and she is putting lots of pressure on me to get yet another cat. I put my foot down, calmly and in a civilsed way and said no to it. She claims that she doesn't know why its my decision & i said it should be BOTH our decisions as we both are going to be paying for it, feeding it & generally looking after it. She can't see that 3 pets is already enough. She also keeps reminding me that i regaurly purchas things for me all the time, and i remind her that those things are for my interests with my money. Buying another cat would be an immature move i think especially with another 3 pets already in the house. How do i / we deal with this?

I was at a bar with a friend and a friend of a girl he knew, I flirted with and asked for her number....

She smiled and said "I'll see you around here"......

I don't get it. I didn't fawn, tried to remain subtle and didn't crowd.
Im a nice guy, and I treat women good, but to be hones why rejected?

I've been rejected alot, and if any of you take that as a opportunity to judge, then that's your attitude problem talking....

Sorry, but men have feelings too. It just bothers me that men have to be so careful with women or you'll ridicule us....

Lately he doesn't want to talk about work when he gets home. he just says....I want to leave work at work! So I never hear how his day is or whats going on with him. He has never been very talkitive, but used to talk about his day with me. Now all I know is what I see while he's home. I am a stay at home mommy of 2 under 2!!! I'm just curious are there any signs I should be looking for that he is hiding something?? Or maybe he just doesn't like to talk about his day? Thanks!

My BF and I have been dating for about a month. Everything has been going great except for the fact that although his Ex has tried every possible thing to get us to break up he STILL chooses to associate himself his ex and her family members. I've asked him, repeatedly to stop talking to them but for some reason he won't do it. The reason why I've asked him to do this is because all of them have disrespected me. It's really frustrating because he won't see my side of things and never really tries to stand up for me. All that he ever says is "That's dumb for them to do that..." But he never takes any action.

What should I do?

that men like a challenge? there's a guy that has been eyeing me for some time now, but he always has girls throwing themselves all over him, and i dont want to be like them. and i think this is part of what makes me appealing to him, i dont know :/

We had an agreement that he will give me the money for our daughter's Christmas things. I asked her what she wanted and she told me a lot of things including a bike, and a kitchen set, and I added it all up and it came to approx. $800 and he refuses to pay! he said that's too much money but I don't think so. I mean I always got a lot for Christmas when I was a child so why shouldn't my daughter? What is his problem, doesn't he want his daughter to be happy? She really wants these things!

I'm going to keep this as short as possible. My ex broke up with 2 months ago while still having feelings for me. We stayed friends and he talked to me everyday for a month. We still hung out at parties with our mutual friends. It got to a point where a couple times I said I couldnt handle this and I was miserable. I've been dating my bf for two years and our relationship is wonderful. We do have our problems, just like every couple does, no one is immune...but things are slowly getting better. But one problem is that my boyfriend feels insecure and has a hard time trusting me completely. He's been hurt and backstabbed in the past from people who meant the most to him and he just expects it from people now. I haven't done a thing to make him suspicious, I'm a very loyal person, but he does fear that my love of attention (which I prefer from him rather than anyone else) and my way of attracting a lot of guys might make me see better options and cheat on him or go behind his back. He is the one that I love, I don't want anyone else. There is no one that an replace him in my heart.
But how do I make him feel more secure? Is trust a thing that has to be shown over time or can I make it easier for him to feel secure with me? How have you overcame issues of trust?

every time i like a guy, he always ends up a jerk! or moves! 5th grade, i liked a guy and he ended up being a jerk, 6th grade i liked a guy names casey. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Someone from my past has came back into my life recently (last I knew he was married). He says that he's getting a divorce and that he will show me the papers. He says he wants to be w/ me but I am not going to jump into a relationship unless I know for a fact he has filed or is divorced. Here the thing he lives in New Mexico and I live in California. Okay here's the situation. I was really stressed by just having a baby, working, and going to school. So my friends asked me to go out with them to a club just to rid my mind of all my problems. I told my husband that I was just gonna be at a friends house having a couple of drinks. When the club was letting out I ran smack right into my husband in the parking lot. He was there with his friends too. He's upset with me and met another girl in the club who i later found out that he cheated on me with the very next day. What should I do about this? My best friend has been acting really wierd for a while now. She always puts other people down by saying" OMG she's ugly""she's fat""omg she has a big nose"..I mean seriously everytime i bring someone up in a convo she interrupts with something mean to say about them. She's become so superficial and it's so annoying to the point where i dont feel like talking to her anymore. She always brings up ppl's flaws even though she has many and she says things to me like"omg your such a dumbass"when i prove her wrong about something but SHE THINKS she's right. She should'nt even be talking about appearences...well I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but she's no Beauty Queen either. It just annoys me, she used to be so nice and down to earth (part of the reason we WERE best friends) but now she's so stuck up and superficial and just plain mean. i just wanna slap her sometimes, she always finds away to bring me down or compete with me or try to prove me wrong. okay so this year ive switched from a private school to a public school the surroundings are very different. when i firt came to the public school i was friends with the "emo rockers" which is weird because i am verryy preppy. so recently ive stopped sitting at lunch with them and stopeed hanging around wwith them and ive been hanging around with the peacesign hippie preppy girls which i love to death now. my first friends dont really talk to me anymore except for one. and i jsut dont know what to do was it a mistake to leave the other behind?
