you can't know anything UNTIL it is final. until then it's circulating in the system, between lawyers, paralegals, judge, etc.
but once you believe it is final, and he hasn't "shown" you anything, just go to that county's website and get the information you seek. if it does cost anything, it wouldn't be a whole lot, no more $10. and if that's all it takes for peace of mind, i'd do it.

You would need to possibly call the county where he is married legally to his wife. Marriage records are public records, but I dont know of any place online where you can access them for free.
