She seems to have lost touch with many of her friends, and I am wondering if this is hurting her relationships. She once told me of how she had to pretend to be her friend at an optometrist appointment. Her friend wanted to get a pair of contact lenses, but has always had a difficult time putting them in during the appointments, and had been denied contacts in the past. She told us she went to the appointment in her friends place and took the eye test, and received a pair her friend would wear. It didn't seem possible that they could have the same prescription, but i didn't feel right questioning her about the specifics. I would really like her to be truthful with me, and don't know how to confront her without damaging our friendship.

My friend's question:

She's with this guy that she loves so much, but she has feelings for his ex best friend who has feelings back as well. She knows that her boyfriend is better for her, but she likes the fact that his friend is a little more daring than her boyfriend. She's been really depressed and got so miserable that she told her boyfriend what was going on... except for the fact that she has feelings for his friend. I think it's getting her boyfriend down but she can't help how she feels. What should she do?

Im 13 & Im a resposible girl. My Parents refuse to let me go out with my friends unless therez "parental supervision". And sometimes they wont let me go even if there iz parental supervision! I love them to death, but they just wont reason with me. Everytime I try to talk to them about it we end up fighting & screaming. I kno their intentions are good but I think thtat Im mature enough to go out on my own & make my own mistakes & learn from them in order to be more prepared 4 the "real world". I'm sick of being the only 1 of my friendz that cant go on the weekends & has 2 be locked up between 4 walls bored all day! Please help

My mother took my nephew and niece out skating with her girl scout troop. However, when they arrived he wasnot allowed in because no "tag alongs" were permitted, it was "Girl Scouts Only" permitted that night, they rented the place out, which my mother wasnt aware of. So she was going to leave my niece there with her friends and troop and take my nephew out to that game room/pizza parlor Chuck E Cheese. he LOVES Chuck E Cheese so this seemed a reasonable alternative to her.
However, my nephew proceeded to put his hands to his head, shaking his head, SCREAMING at the top of his lungs. Inconsolable. My mother had to drag him out of the skating facility. Once in the car he carried on a while more, then my mom talked to him about how inappropriate his behavior was, embarassing etc etc. Later his mother wasnt upset with him. She said "well he DOES like skating". Said my mom shldnt have taken him on the wrong night. HUH?? Am I crazy? He acts this way and is never his fault.
Advice?

Ok so here's the story and question....

I was with my girlfriend almost 5 years....we loved each other very much....we did have some fights and arguments.
I wasn't perfect, I did say mean things sometimes or do things but I have OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Not all of it, but most of it was caused by my problems, I have been getting help and working on myself for the last
year and a half and been getting better. I regularly go to my therapist and psychiatrist and take my meds as prescribed.
I have gotten better. She left me 3 months ago because she said she didn't like the way I treated her. She is the type
that wants a "fairytale" relationship. Everyone has told her including her parents that she won't get that with anyone.
She also expects no fights or arguments. Well anyways she told me for the first two months after she left...that she
still wanted to be with me, she loves me, misses me, wants to know I'm serious about us, etc. Then two weeks after
that go by and she doesn't say much to me....well I texted her a lot but it was because when I tried to give her space
before by not texting as much, she would text me and say why are you ignoring me or I don't think you're serious about
this...and then when I did she didn't want me to text or wouldn't text me back most of the time.

Rachel, i just want to no y u were being disrespectful? hana never called u anything. so idk wat ur problem is. u should apoligize to her for ur rudeness. b/c thats uncalled for. ecspecially that letter. ur switching the whole problem onto her. she never did anyhting to u except be a good friend. and i wat i tell her is its not worth it and says i no but shes my friend. see wat a good friend she is. think about ur actions. ~Mikayla~
I am so mad that she showed everyone that letter, it was between us two not me vs. hanna AND the school!?!? what should i do?

My bf asked me if i wanted to go on a drive after office. And i said yes. He told me to wrap my work and i did. But then suddenly some queries came on a report i had sent and my boss asked me to discuss it with him and answer the queries. Consulting him and sending the reply took me almost an hour. My bf was calling and i told him that something very urgent - important has come up and he'll have to wait. I said sorry even and asked him to wait. As soon as i finished my work his msg came that 'by the time you'll read this msg i'll be gone and dont call me'. I didn't call, but i was so hurt. Night had fallen and i was thinking didn't he even care how i'll go back. He has a car so he could leave me home, i usually take a bus back home. Im sure a lot was going in his mind too but did he over react by leaving me? I feel so bad... it has been 5 days now but its hurting so much that i didn't talk to him on phone even when he asked me to. Tell me what to think

I have a wonderful husband who works hard, loves his family, tells me all the time that I am beatiful and the only one he wants. He is home in the evenings and at work during the day. But I have a suspicious mind filled with jealousy about everything. I get angry when he sneaks a look at porn on the internet (but not movies, magazines ect.) I hate it when he says his coworkers "friend" comes to help the two of them close the shop.
I am not a stupid person, and I know that my insecurities are going to drive him crazy and push him away. This is my issue and not his. He has never given me reason to believe he has ever or would ever cheat or leave me. We have been together 12 years and it was kinda cute to him when we were teenagers but now I'm sure it is just annoying as hell to always have to defend himself. Although he takes all with a smile and says I am just being silly and have nothing to worry about. How do I stop this childish behavior before its too late?

I'm nearly sixteen and I'm still sharing a bedroom with my sister who is a year younger than me. I feel like this is imparing on my life and I'm unsure whether this is a "healthy" thing for an adolesent to be still doing. I've shared a bedroom with my sister since she was born and it looks like I'll only have my own bedroom when I'm twenty and leave home... I even have my doubts then! We are moving house... or looking for a home to move to and the only request I have made is to have my own bedroom, but they seam to only be looking at three-five bedroomed houses. (We, unfortunately, are a family of NINE people and I don't think four bedrooms will be enough for anyone to not have to have their own and it's always my brother who has his own bedroom... he is also younger than me!)

So... Is it healthy to be sleeping in the same room as my sister, at the age of 16?

We paid for our oldest daughter's wedding...big church wedding. The marriage lasted a year, she's now divorced two years, and Mr. Right #2 is in the picture. I overheard a conversation where she said she wants another big wedding to erase the first mistake. Excuse me? Another big wedding? I have two more daughters and a son to marry off. Should my wife and I pay for wedding #2 for daugther #1?

I have a best friend, and she's 14. She tells me that there's this guy whom she really likes and he's courting her. But her mom suddenly found out and forbade her to ever see that guy again.

She asks me how she can convince her mom that she's ready to have a boyfriend. Then again, is 14 really the right age for having a boyfriend? If yes, how to convince the mom?
