That is really a tough call to make since i don't know your friend and what her maturity level is. Some girls are mature and responsible enough at 14 to handle having a boyfriend, whereas other girls her age are not. As for her mom, there is no definate way to convince her to allow a boyfriend. your friend just needs to realize that her mother is only trying to protect her. She is at a vunerable age. Kids are becoming sexually active at earlier and earlier ages. If I was a parent, I don't know if I would be comfortable with my daughter having a bf at 14. Again, it would all depend on whether I felt my daughter was mature and responsible enough to handle the relationship. This could be why her mother has forbid her to see the boy again. She may not feel that her daughter is ready for that.

The only thing a person needs to do at the age of 14, is be 14. There is plenty of time to get a boyfriend. A crush is fine but a boyfriend comes with a whole set of responsibilities a 14 year old doesn't need to go through quite yet.

Everyone's different. Is she emotionally ready?
150 years ago girls were getting married at 13 and 14. They do mature faster than boys, but our society is very different now. Girls didn't even have rights back then, and if they got in trouble, their fathers or brothers might or might not have done something about it. After all, girls were meant to get married.
Now-a-days girls are being brought up to be more independent and that takes longer.
That's the problem with having a boyfriend at 14. She could be already giving into dependency. In that case, she might just need more attention from a father figure.

Fourteen is alright as long as there aren't a whole lot of bodily contacts (kissing, makeouts, feelups). Relationships at this age should be more like holding hands at the movies kind of thing.
Convincing a mom is always difficult. But one ways to do it for this situation, is to remind her that neither kids can drive therefore there will always be a parental interaction to limit the intimacy level somewhat. That's really the only thing I can think of that would convince her, but Good luck!

People will say no, people will say yes. It's really about the individual. If she thinks she can handle it, then (even though it's not right, per se. ) I would do it behind my mom's back. Parents don't always know best and all that junk. You have to make your own choices because if it were up to your parents, you would never date until you move out and by that time, you will be behind everybody else.

Im 14 and i think having a bf at that age is okay. But you have to be prepared to face the day when u guys break up bczz most relationships dont last too long at this age : ( but they should also be careful and not do stupid things that will cause them troubles.
i hope this helps!

it really depends. My mom says 15 or 16 but it also depends on what you mean. Ask your mom. She'll say honey your a little to young why don't you wait till next year. That's what she'll say for date dates. She'll probaly say Only if you know this boy is true. Honey i don't want your heart to break. She'll say that for like football games sitting together at lunch, talking on the phone and in the hallway types of dating BOW (best of wishes)

This is not love 14 Th is attraction period we r not call this better time to boyfriend. but she think about yes i like him then she have to cross check about our self, leave without that boy one month & ask the question to own mind can i live without him? then if her mind say no i cant live without him? then try to relations(best friend) with that guy spent some time with him, and ask quetion to ourself can i happy with him, if yes then tell to her parent specialy preference to mom first. then what her mom say dont worry she tell to her mom how that guy come in ur life & how u get love him. then u try to convince ur mom u cant live without that guy. whatever her mom say that are profitable for that girl.
