I have a problem though its not yet a problem but I could see in the future my son would be asking for his real father, how on earth would I explain our situation, that me and his father can no longer be together that we are separated already and we have our own lives. I am afraid of the future questions, that makes me cry alone at night. I hope you could give some advice. For I really dont want to hurt his feelings but i know he would still be hurt but he is really surrounded by love and by my whole family and i am always there. thanks for your advice

I have had pretty terrible luck recently when it comes to girls (see my history) and I have come to a realization. When I was little, I was kind of made to believe that guys were usually somewhat sex crazed and assertive while girls thought more about the emotional side of any relationship and, even though they sometimes went out with jerks, were always looking for someone perfect.

It seems to me know that, at least in my case, its quite the opposite. I'm an a sensitive guy and as far as I can see most of the girls are viewing the guys just as much as objects as the guys are viewing them.

So I guess my question is: is this the way it is all the time, or is it just a high school thing. Are girls these days totally incapable of finding someone they really like and sticking with them?

My daughter is 13 yrs old and has been having some issues with a few of her friends.i give my daughter my opinion on things but leave it up to my daughter how she wants to handle things.Long story short my girl started goin out with one of her friends ex"s.They are young so i tell her boys will come and go.This friends mother recently got involved when my daughter was talking to her daughter and another freind about everything going on.She basically called my daughter trash and forbid her daughter from hanging out with my girl.so i stepped in when i saw her in my girls face and all h*** broke loose.she even went as far as to call this boys mother and he had to break up with her.My girl has been really sad latley.I jus think it was wrong for an adult to say such things in front of a child and to take things this far.The kids were working things out just fine on their own.Am I wrong in being angry?

Male and Female POV please....

How would you feel if someone you were dating said that they wanted to watch a video of you having intercourse with another man...a man before your current relationship?
Would you be offended? Hurt? Upset? Turned on?

He then said how he would never ever want to share me but I just could not believe that he would even want to see that from my past, present, or future...most people find the thought of their partner with another stomach turning!!!

FYI I dont have any videos he just asked me if I had any past videos....that alone was a bit shocking...

I asked a guy out a couple weeks ago. before i asked this guy out he would flirt with me and talk to me. but after i asked him out ( he said no) he stopped talking to me and didn't flirt with me. is there a possibility that he likes me but don't want to date right now. becouse he flirted with me pretty much every time i seen him (i see him twice a week). and now he don't flirt with me. he didn't even tell me why he said no but i havn't asked him though. i need advise. sorry this is so long.
Also is it bad that i still like this guy?
give me any advise you have.
thanks

Has anyone ever combined (or witnessed) a wedding and a baby christening? Our 8 month old baby girl is going to be part of the wedding. The maid of honor is going to walk her down the isle and give her to her dad up front. The pastor will say a few words for our family and my mom will take her for the remainder of the ceremony. However, I'd like to put a twist on it and have her christening on this day. There are several reasons why I want to do it. I understand many people wouldn't want to do this. I would really appreciate advice or suggestions on the best way to approach making this a unique and special addition to the wedding. The pastor has agreed to it. We're meeting him this week. I'd love to hear imput or suggestions. This will be his first time doing both at once. I'd love to be prepared before we meet him. Our daughters God parents are in the wedding and all of our closest family and friends will be there. Any advice?

is the day before Thanksgiving. I was thinking of just having cake on Thanksgiving after dinner since everyone will already be there. His father is upset b/c he feels that his son is being cheated and should get a "real" bday on the actual day of his bday. I was trying to explain that nobody is going to show up on his bday and then again the next day for Thanksgiving but he doesnt seem to understand that. Plus I have another child and threw her a really huge 1st bday but realized its too expensive and they dont even need that much so he thinks Im cheating our son. How should I explain to him that its for the better?

I've been married for 7 years (10 years into relationship) and it's been hell. My spouse and I have had the strangest relationship, we have been physically seperated off and on for many years and keep trying at it (occasional sex), however I am constantly being accused of cheating when in fact I am not. He purposefully says demeaning and hurtful things everytime we do see each other. I find myself wanting out desperately. Quite frankly, I'm tired of this so-called realtionship and don't have any convenient answers. I need help, any suggestions?

We've known each other for five years and dated four of those. I believe she loves me.

She knew I was in the army when I met her and that I'd eventually have to leave Maryland and be stationed in Texas for 4 years. I asked her to marry me before I left this summer and she said no, she wasn't ready.

Now she's saying that she wants to come visit Texas first and see what its' like. Then we could move in together for a few months, talk to a marriage counselor and then get engaged.

WTF?! If she loves me, why does she have to be so cautious? Why can't she just move to Texas now and marry me right away?

One minute we were madly in love, no problems except for working out when we could be together....then suddenly no contact...and finally he asked me for time. That was nearly a month ago. I know he is away working, but why is he ignoring my texts? I just need to know why he is doing this without an explanation. I miss him dreadfully. I want to give him time but need to understand. My friends tell me to let go as he is 'not into me' any more. But I believe he loves me. Am I wrong?

Okay here is my situtaion. My bf says im very sensitive. Which I am. But than again most girls are and especially around pms. Also he is very senstive as well. I cant even joke with him he will take it personal, even if im playing. But anyways the problem here is that everytime I get very senstive or argue. He thinks I am the only girl that is like that he thinks that I am way more sensitive than other girls, meanwhile I am his first serious relationship. I don’t understand most men I have dated are understanding and know already all girsl are very senstive. The thing that bothers me is that he is way to sensitive to for beign a man. And he says that his mother and thinks like other girls his sisters, etc are not that sensitve and that I have a problem. First of all his mom is 50yrs old im 27, big difference secondly,he has no idea how his mom is with aman because she has never had stayed with a man and all different fathers. So he had a rough growing up. I don’t think is that she is not sensitive I just think she is older and dysfunctional and his whole family is like that their a mess different baby daddies, no education.. Etc. anyways I don’t know he doesn’t understand how woman are really. He thinks that im the only one like this. He is not very understanding and gets in patient really quick with me.

My friend and I have been attracted to each other for the last year, have a great connection and are really close. But, he's married (1yr)! We work in same office building. He's told me before that he's not in love with his wife and never was and he regrets rushing into marriage (he's young). We ended up having sex about a month ago. Then, he was ignoring my emails and calls. He finally spoke to me this week at work and I asked him why he is being strange and aren't we friends? He said he's decided to make things work with his wife & he's moving w/her! I don't believe that's how he truly feels and know he's not happy. I know he may not feel as strongly for me as I do him, but there is something there we can't ignore. Should I be completely honest and tell him what a big part of my life he's been and that I have feelings more than friends? If I do that he may get scared and not want to keep in touch. I want to keep him in my life but also want him to be happy even if it's not with me.

My fiance and I are getting married in March and have started putting together a guest list. We want to keep it small, between 20-30 guests, but his family is huge and we dont know where to draw the line. We are inviting parents, siblings and grandparents for sure, and like 3 of our best friends. I only have one aunt and uncle and I would like to invite them, but would it be fair or right, because his aunts and uncles wouldnt be invited? To invite all aunts and uncles we are looking at close to 50-60 guests and we dont' want that. How do you tactfully draw the line?

My husband has told his mother (his parents have money) that we would like a treadmill for Christmas. I told him it would be nice to have one months and months ago. Mind you, we are broker than a joke, we have BILLS! I'm pregnant due december 30th, and we have very little for the new baby. I'm most likely going to have a repeat c-section. We have an 1100 square foot townhouse with no real room for a treadmill. Is it just me or is he basically asking his mother to buy him a really expensive gift and pretending that I want it? seeing as I won't even be able to use it for months after my baby is born?
It may even sound like I'm selfishly whining about not getting somethin I want from my husbands parents, but my real concern is that he wants to put this particular one on layaway, and put $200 of our dollars on it. We're about 8 and 1/2 months behind on all that we owe right now. what the hell? is he just totally in denial, or headed into some kind of early midlife crisis?
