my girlfriend is sick. she went to the hospital with a 108 temp. she is now out with a 104 temp. she has to have her tonsils removed they keep flaring up and making her sick. what can i do to make her feel better? also what can we do tonight?

My Mother and Father were divorced, my Mother was remarried with children when my Father died in Nov.1968. My Father left my Mother a letter earlier that year, which is a will.. At the time of his death, he was buyin some land. In this letter, he states he wants my Mother to take the money that would be coming in from S.S. to pay the land off, and make sure that his daughter got it. My Mother paid the land off, and somehow got the Deed put in her name.Then in 1999 she gave it to my half Brother. This land was in my Fathers Succession. When I had found that out, I had no choice, but to get an attorney. Last year I dropped the law suit, to save face with my family, thinking that they would do the right thing, and have the Deed put in my name...Not, my half Brother is still on the Deed....My question is...Why do I have to settle with half of what, was to be mine. Brother had the nerve to tell me he was (giving) me half, how is that ,when its not his to give? The nerve of some people..

Throughout our relationship, his mom has been very controlling: treating us like children, calling and coming over all time, wanting to pay for things, getting upset when we didnt participate in family events, etc. Then everything got worse the day we first told them we were moving out of state, they went balistic and said a lot of disrespectful things to me b/c it was for my job, but he chosen to come with me. I have not spoken to his mother since that day, which was 2 yrs ago. Through this time, my boyfriend's relationship has deteriorated w/his family too. They barely talk on phone and when they do they start fighting. His family asked to come visit us and we refused b/c his mother wants to act like nothing ever happened without confronting the issue or apologizing to me. We our going visit our home state soon (my fam still lives there too) and I know if I try and sit down and talk with her, she wont want to talk about it and things will escalate. What should I do?

have been flirting and texting this guy he has been flirting back he sent me three kisses last night in a text anyway today i got a text asking me to call him-- yet i was away from my phone then five minutes later another text saying "ignore the last text, lads messing around, sorry". I just cant make heador tail of him i was away from my phone when i got the first text so i never phoned him and then i go the second 5 minutes later saying ignore the first- do you think it was lads messing around or do you think he actually asked me to call him.but becasue he did not hear from me in the half hour he tried to cover it up? This 25 y/o guy I had 2 dates with assumes I'm the party type based on the fact that I do go to parties occasionally. He thinks I'm the type to hang out at parties and go up to strangers and hook up with them. So, he seems to be interested in me for the wrong reasons- interested in me for sex. I won't hook up with him. But I know he can be the relationship type. What can I do to show that I'm not the fool-around type? Should I confront him? Should I mention about my last long term 4-year relationship which ended few months ago? He already opened up about his past on the 2nd date (6-year relationship but not sure if that is true) and when he asked me about mine, i said it was on a need-to-know basis b/c i felt it was too early to share that kinda stuff.
Most importantly, he invited me to his housewarming party and suggested i could crash over on the next date. Should I avoid going? Or should I go and leave at end of it? He will be driving me if I go.

Do you think that if you were dating someone 5 years and you broke up with them and you claimed that you really loved the person you were with very much.....do you think that it's really truly possible to;

Meet someone on a cell phone through the internet on a text messaging service....text them for two month.....meet them only 3 weeks ago from today in person and say that you have moved on, over it, and happy with this new girl. Plus say that you love them already and are going to marry her soon and move her in with you? This meaning that you could get over your ex you supposedly loved even though you say you don't now in just knowing someone personally for 3 weeks????

My work had a new router installed at my house so I could access files from home, and I think I'd like to ask the IT guy who came to install it out sometime. I met him at my office once before he came to my house to install the router, and he spent 3 hours at my house installing it this morning. We didn't talk much (I'm shy and he spent a lot on time on the phone with customer service) but we talked enough for me to decide he's a pretty nice guy, and that we have several things in common - we both studied French in college, he went to Paris for New Years, etc. I have his email and office and cell numbers from the emails he sent to get directions to my house, but I've never communicated except by email (other than in person obviously). I know he isn't married... would it be strange to email him to ask him out? i really don't want to call (awkward - I'm shy, remember) - should I maybe send a text instead?

I don't ever really do these things, but i'm newly single and want a date!

I am 22 yrs old and I have a 3 yr old daughter. I live with my boyfriend at his mothers house (he is the father of my child). I have been looking for an apartment or house for us to move in for a few months now and I finally found one. It's right down the street from his moms house and all his friends are still around, but now he's saying he doesn't want to move because he currently doesn't have a job. I told him we might have to struggle at first, but we need to live on our own... I mean, we have a family now. He said he doesn't want to have to struggle and he doesn't want to live on a budget, but I feel we need to be more responsible. It's not that I want to struggle... no way! who wants to do that? I just think it's the right thing to do. we need to start from somewhere and learn on our own. no one is going to be there to guide us all our life. am I right? he insist that I'm trying to move too fast and I'm not thinking. I have a job and I do make enough to pay everything on my own

My wife asked if I could make a better effort to wiping down the table after dinner and with cleaning out the sink. I agreed and made the request that she stop using the sink as a garbage bowl when she cooks.

The thing is she took offense to my request, which I thought was reasonable. I find it very disgusting to pile up egg shells, meat packaging and misc pieces of vegatables in the sink which will have to be removed by hand.

I just looked at her thinking "Wow she is acting like a spoiled brat."

So,my mom is Really honestly getting on my last nerve,I am 18 years old and almost 19 in a couple of mths.I am a girl who focus on the important things in life. I use to be close with my mom when i was younger we no longer are.As i get older she is difficult to speak too. I have a friend that I have known for almost 15 years. We became friends in high school but since college we have become less and less similar. I have a job, she's still in school. She is uncomfortable talking with me about her relationship or money, I find our conversations very generic for people that used to be so close and I found myself not wanting to talk to her. I stopped calling her last January but she has continued to call me monthly since then, and it's been nearly a year. I feel bad to ditch her like that but she obviously doesn't feel the same way about our friendship and I don't know how to tell someone that I don't want to be friends anymore. Does that make me an awful person? Any advice would be helpful.
