to take your shoes off during your wedding reception? Both of my best friends did it..and i didn't care, but moms insisting i get a pair of 'ballet' slippers for the reception, i really don't want them lol but I was curious if it was considered rude or tacky

I have a relative that has two siblings that were put up for adoption before he was born. One of these sibling is in the family but the relative has no idea that he is his brother. I came by this information when I was a teenager by overhearing a conversation. His mother will never tell him about his brother because of her emberassment at the fact she was pregnant before she was married, I believe he has a right to know he has a brother. he also has a sister but I do not know her idenity. Do I tell of not? I feel he should know but I am conflicted, any advice!

I met this young lady on my way to Florida, on the bus. She was headed to Ga. we talked for hours, and held hands. It felt as if I had known her all my life, so much in common. So yeah, there's this girl in my class who seems to not understand english. I told her many times that I am not interested in her, yet she still bugs me with childish notes in class.

Also, some other girls like me but I do not like them. They always give me obvious signs and looks that they do, but I want to tell them I do not like them without huring them or never talking to me.

This 25 y/o guy I had 2 dates with assumes I'm the party type based on the fact that I do go to parties occasionally. He thinks I'm the type to hang out at parties and go up to strangers and hook up with them (could be due to rumors). So, he seems to be interested in me for the wrong reasons- interested in me for sex. I won't hook up with him. But I know he can be the relationship type. What can I do to show that I'm not the fool-around type? Should I confront him? Should I mention about my last long term 4-year relationship which ended few months ago? He already revealed his past on 2nd date (6-year relationship & claims he is a virgin) and when he asked me about mine, i said it was on a need-to-know basis b/c i felt it was too early to share that kinda stuff.
Most importantly, he invited me to his housewarming party and suggested i could crash over on the next date. Should I avoid going? Or should I go and leave at end of it? He will be driving me if I go.

They all say there are nice guys out there who don't place high emphasis on looks or body and more on intelligence and interests. But where the hell are you hiding?
I feel so doomed!! Every single guy who seems at least moderately attractive and healthy wants a girl with the beautiful face and perfect body. Here I am miss plain jane, with 34 DDD breasts that, (i'll admit hurt my back and sag a tad), and 134 lbs of lard (even though i'm 5''5'--it seems fat). Is it my young age that prevents me from finding those guys who would love to run around indie music stores or watch good films or have interesting dicussions. I just learned that I can't even get a breast reduction since I would never be able to breast feed (something I hold important). Honestly, what's the point of dating or even trying if you are plain with a subpar body? I'm not even allowed to hold standards it seems. Yes. I have low self-esteem, but in all fairness, who wouldn't with my body and the desires of men?

I was such a stupid man, and my wife decided to work things out. I feel like crap about what I did, and I am completely remorseful. I wished I had never crossed that line because it wasn't worth it. The way I feel about what I did tells me I will never slip again. Have any of you women taken back your man? How long did it take to get back to being comfortable with him? I found my boyfriend code to his phone I found out he has been talking to another woman all the time he has been text messaging her alot he has been coming home late from work when I ask him where was he he says the train was late or some excuse but when I look I see he has been talking to her should I comfront him with this cause there was a time when I found out he was buying another woman flowers and he wasn't even doing that for me I comfronted him about that he told me he's not gonna explain cause I shouldn't have gone through his things he went away for training for his job the night I spoke to him he said he was tired and he was gonna to bed but I look and he had called her right after he spoke with me for and hour and a half and three minutes later he called her again half the time he don't even respond to my text messages he claim he don't get them as well as my calls what should I do should I comfront him about this cause I did sneak into his phone to get this information

My wife will no longer do anything without me. I have a life of my own, I go out with friends to a bar or something usually once a week. Her friends call her to do things and if it is not on the night I am going out she will not go. Her friends are getting tired of it and no longer call. I have asked her several times to go out and do something and she never does. Recently she has triend to make me feel guilty for having fun without her. I take her out usually once a week to see a band or out to eat and she still gets upset if I go out without her once in a while. She is smothering me and I need help.

My mom and I live in an apartment. She refuses to clean it with me. She says she doesn't have time. It's got fleas and roaches and our dogs poop everywhere. There are stacks of garbage and boxes of stuff from when we moved in last year. I have flea bites all over me and roaches in my bed. I keep my room clean and I eat mac n cheese from the microwave for dinner while I wait for her to get home. I talked to her about it and told her I was embarrassed to bring friends over, but she says we'll just leave the door shut all the time so people can't see. Dad's house is clean all the time. I want to live with him and my sister. Mom says she'll take him to court if he takes me away from her. What do I do?

I have a small problem... I love my husband with all my heart!!! But his kids drive me crazy! They lack respect, responsibility, disapline, and manners. Course it's not their fault, and I would like to believe that its not ours either. I would love to point all the blame on their mother. Thats not right either though. Over this past weekend I got a lil too intoxicated since it was my friend's bday. While I was at the club celebrating, I spotted a friend of this guy I've liked-but we're mostly just friends-anyway his friend is actually a roommate of the guy I like's cousin. Well me & his friend were flirting & since I didn't want to drive home drunk, I went w/him back to his place. Well 1 thing lead to another & we hooked up. Then I felt bad so I called my guy friend & told him to come over. When he got there, I'm sure he saw me come out of his friend's room, but who knows, and then me & him hooked up. So yah I pretty much suckered him into coming over so I could hook up w/ him. I'm not sure if he knows I hooked up w/his friend but I'm sure the word got around. Anyway, my guy friend still seems to be my friend after what happened, even though I thought he liked me at one point. But I never told him what happened, but like I said he probably knows from someone else, if so, why is he still my friend?

I don't usally like up do's , but this one looks unique. I would subistute the flowers for roses in pink or white. My dress is a white strapless with a light pink sash, and the reception is at a hll in the country.
