This is called your Golden Birthday. I know because I just celebrated mine in September. My best friend threw me a Golden Birthday party where everyone dressed with gold & black somehow. All of the decorations were gold and black. The cake was made with 24 c. gold and was amazing. Turn your location into a hip lounge, make fake-tinis that look like lemon drops and put them into plastic (they are actually nice looking even for plastic) martini glasses. Get a live dj (a friend maybe?) and dance the night away. You can even do your sweet 16 invites with large, gold 16's on the front. You'll have a blast, good luck and be safe.

.Sweet Sixteen...Sixteen Candles! Congratulation's!
Please don't drink & drive. Alchohol is not a nessity.
Have a Billboard with your picture on it, and have everyone sign it.
Pending on your budget: Buy T-shirts (wholesale), print something you would like on them.
Have a treasure hunt. Scavanger Hunt for 16 items, and give a trophy to the winner. Divied your party into groups 8, ( that's 1/2 of 16).
If you can, find a local band that wants exposure to alot of people, they won't charge too much.
Hope this helps inspire you. Have fun!

It depends on how much money you have. My little sister rented out a banquet hall, like where they have weddings. You can get a DJ and most places will cater the event. I would suggest maybe a themed party, maybe a masquerade party or a beach theme. If you are tight on money then rethink the guest list and have something in your home if you can accommodate that many people. If you live in a warmer climate maybe do a backyard BBQ with a bonfire. Good luck, and Happy Birthday!

Have a DJ food drinks, a power point video of pictures of you from birth all the way to the age of 16. Maybe do a raffle you know give out numbers a the entrance and whoever gets the right number can get a gift. give away a copy of the powerpoint video for one winner, and an other gift for another and so on. do the musical chair thing. have a bingo going too. you know low cost things that can be very fun for people.
good luck

Have a boy girl party. If possible rent a Karokee machine and get everyone involved in just having fun. If you can afford it, spice it up and have the party at a local hotel. If you puchase a certain amount of food you can get the banquet room for free. Happy Birthday.

Get alot of decorations: balloons, colorful streamers, confetti. Decorate tables and rooms of your house. Order pizza. Get a pinata. Or have a bon fire.

Who's throwing the party? It should be their responsibility to entertain the guests...its a party for you.
