Now he called me, left a msg saying we should talk on Monday. Hate the fact that I have to listen to his excuse and have to accept whatever it is and either go on with the relationship or get dumped. Complete loss of control stinks. What should I do?

Its just around the corner and I have no ideas. She is not tech savvy so that rules out a good amount of things. She likes angels but I get the feeling she has enough of them to last her a life time and I wanted to make a change for once.

Money is of no concern to me but may be an issue at a certain amount.

If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to read them. If you have no ideas just please put what you think would be a nice gift.

So over the summer I got to know a guy from college really well. We didn't hang out when we actually went to school but he e-mailed me over the summer and we hit it off. The problem is that when school started this fall a (former) friend put the moves on him and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. It only lasted one week and now he is single again. I want to know if I should hold my head high and forget about him, or cut the games and pursue him because I know he likes me, and I really like him!

And, if you think I should contact him what should I say??

My husband made a comment earlier today and yesterday about my Questions and Answers being set to private on Yahoo Answers. Apparently he tried to search for my questions but he couldn't access anything. He rarely looks on Yahoo Answers but he was trying to snoop and see what I ask and answer to on here.

I mainly set my Questions and Answers private because sometimes people have a tendancy to bring up something in a question you answered three weeks ago in a question that you asked today. Also, because I have asked many questions about our marriage and things pertaining to him, I wouldn't want him to read any of that. It's not that I'm asking anything that he doesn't know about. It's just he would get all bent out of shape about the way I'm asking something.

Do you think he has a right to be mad at me? It's almost like he wanted me to say "Here, look at my Questions and Answers.". I don't have anything to hide. But I feel he shouldn't care what I ask on here.

My friends are driving me insane!!! One of them, who I thought was my best friend, is suddenly constantly contradicting me. I know she has all her own opinions and stuff, but it's like she's not even bothering to see my side and what I think. She just tells me that I'm wrong, or I'm stupid, and "corrects" me. One of my other friends seems obsessed with whacking people. Hard. I can't go a day without her hitting my should at least five times, or poking me all through the class I sit next to her in. Another one of my friends makes fun of me a lot. I mean, it's all joking, but she does it constantly and still thinks that I should be laughing about it. Then some of my other friends just recently started ignoring me.
I know what you're thinking, why are these people my friends in the first place, go find new friends...It's not that easy. In my school, you're stuck with the people you made friends with. You have no choice. And otherwise, my friends were really nice.

We've been married for eight years. I had a gambling addiction, and lied to her about it. I wasn't always the best husband, but I was pretty good.
Now I am dealing with my addiction (Gamblers Anonymous meetings, counseling) and my life is turning around for the better.
She still says she wants out and she will never trust me again.
I love her and we have three young children.
I don't believe in divorce - from a personal standpoint and a religous standpoint.
What should I do?

My daughter had her 4th birthday party today. Since she was born, I have made it clear to everyone around me that I didn't want her to play with Bratz dolls. I think the message they send to little girls isn't a good one. My sister in law (who lives in another state) knows of my feelings about this and has in the past commented that she didn't see any reason why I should have a problem- her daughter (much older than my daughter) collects Bratz dolls. I have never said anything bad about her daughter, personally, I have just stated that I felt these dolls send out a bad message.
My daughter got a package in the mail from this aunt for her birthday- I didn't look first- didn't think I needed to. When she opened the present at the party, it was 2 bratz dolls. I couldn't just take them away from her because that would have been wrong and I can't take them away now. I guess I'll have to let her play with them. But what should I say, if anything, to my SIL who I know did this on purpose?

I go to school during the weekdays. I stay home all day during the weekends w/o doing anything, but stick to my laptop. I barely spent time with my family or younger sibling going out because they are at work or my sibling is either on the computer all day. I work during school days everyday. I used to do volunteer work during the weekends, but not now because I wanted something different maybe bored of repeating job that I was given. The only time I stick close to my family is when I'm on the dinner table. I don't know what to spend my time on the weekends because I am so free. I don't have much friends. Am I doing something wrong here?

ok im 16 and this monday is my first date with a senior quarterback from my school, nick, he is VERY experienced. My best friend Josh is friends with him and he keeps telling me not to date him...me and josh have been friends for 10 years and he is my neighbor...he is a senior (im a junior) he keeps saying that he cant tell me why but that i cant go out with this guy and today he came over my house and nick came over while josh was there and josh freaked out and started yelling at him and they were fighting..they are hella good friends why did he attack him? and why doesnt he want me to go out with him?

nick thinks that josh likes me, and is jealous because what we have is "special." josh has been really nice to me lately; buying me my fav coffee and suprising me, he even opened my car door for me today. people think that me and josh hook up, because he sleeps over evey night, but we dont. I just hate to be alone, im a virgin.

Ok. I have this friend whose mom is really crazy. Ive known her for years and her mom gets mad at her for everything. She has 3 older sisters that got pregnant at either 14, 15, and 17. My friend is 15 now and she also has a younger sister who is 5 years old. The mom has a drinking problem and her sisters all make her watch kids and shes in school and everything she hardly does anything. Her mom just broke her tv and phone for NOTHING....just because she was sleeping and her little sister came in the room and started making lots of noise and her mother took her little sisters side. I wanna go to like social services but I feel like its not in my part. Shes scared to talk to someone because the rest of her family will call her a b*tch or a brat which shes not. I dont know what to do because she is like my best friend and shes a good person who doesnt nothing but watch other peoples kids. Can you help me please?
