So over the summer I got to know a guy from college really well. We didn't hang out when we actually went to school but he e-mailed me over the summer and we hit it off. The problem is that when school started this fall a (former) friend put the moves on him and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. It only lasted one week and now he is single again. I want to know if I should hold my head high and forget about him, or cut the games and pursue him because I know he likes me, and I really like him!

And, if you think I should contact him what should I say??

I hope he is not a flake, dating and ending it in one week. Before you jump in since he is now single, consider why he is single. Get to know him better---find out things about him , his friends, goals, dreams, what he wants in a girlfriend, etc.Only after you have the answers to these and other questions do you then decide to make your move. While you don't have to pursue him like you indicated, you do have to let him know that you have feelings for him.Take the direct approach--just ask him out to a movie or a music concert or something along those lines. The ball will then be in his court.Good luck.

Easy....Contact him and say,"Hi how are you?" ,and the conversation should role from there.
