My friend has finished his 31-year of age and he is preparing to get married but he does not want to get married to a very young girl (around 18-20). What is the best or average difference of age (in years) between a new male and a female for getting married and for having a satisfied sexual, intellectual, and emotional relationship that will endure for a long time?

Both my parents had troubled upbringings. My dad was abandoned when he was (approximately) 3 weeks old. He was found in a plastic bag in the local church grounds and grew up in an orphanage. My mum was training to be a nun and somehow they ended up falling in love together (he was the gardener at the church).

But anyway, it turns out that my dad is not my biological father. What I didn't know, was that the church my mum worked at was also a home for unmarried mothers and my mum was already pregnant with me when she met my 'dad'.

So now I'm not really the person I thought I was. What's wierd is that I really look like my dad. We have the same blonde hair and blue eyes and he's six foot 4 and , I'm 6 foot.

It feels wierd though. It would seem wierd to think that he's not really my dad.

Do you think it would be wierd if I just pretended that I didn't know about it and I just let it go? It feels like the cowards way out though!

hurting eachother...but in d end things turn on me...and im to blame for everything...recently....i had a miscarraige...i really wanted d baby..but the docs said tht it wasnt growing and they advised me to get it terminated...i was left all mentally n physically waek..my parents and my husband supporetd my recovery....i had a fight over d phone with his sis....cos she was blaming my folks for no reason....and tht was when spotting in my preg took place leading to d termination...i havent been talkin to her since...y'day my hubby planned out an eve at d movies...though i was dead tired with d preparation of dinner etc for v had a 25 ppl get together..i still got raedy and v left...we were nearlt there when my bubby called his sis and told her to b there..cps she was joining us for a movie too....now y didnt yog prepared me for this b4?? i couldnt have said no...cos i love him....we hada very furious fight in d car...and cancelled everything....i still havent overcome the fight..pls help

A little boy goes running to a brand new candy store, wishng for there to be this ONE candy that he has been waiting and hoping to have. But when he gets to the candy store, he see's something else that looks better...but he puts it in his mouth and finds out that it tastes worse....wouldn't you figure he would spit it our and go for what he KNOWS will taste good???

But you would be wrong.

Take that situation and put it to real life. Why do we go for a person that we know will be great and will make us happy, but we see someone that looks better on the outside...and go for that instead. We know it wont "taste good"...but for some reason...we dont always spit it out?

If you would NEVER eat a peice of candy that you NEW you wouldn't like....or it would taste good at first but leave you with a horrible after taste...Then why would you date someone you KNEW wasn't going to make you as happy as someone else??

I am always sitting home every saturday night - I went to the mall and saw all the guys with their girlfriends and I was alone!!! What is the key! When he sees me he always goes out of his way to high five me and then walks away. He high fives everyone, though. Sometimes when he's walking by me, he'll touch my arm and waist, but he does this to some other people, too. He talks to me, but just about normal things, such as school and sports. I've only started talking to him about 2 weeks ago, but we've both seen each other around for years. He was talking to me earlier and mentioned that his dad knew mine, and that got me thinking to he would've had to bring my name up so he must've been talking about me. When we talk, he looks directly in my eyes, but he does that to everyone. He's sending me so many mixed signals. what do you think?

The female equivelant of being kicked in the testicles being hit in the breast while on your period.

I have been with my boyfriend since 2005 we went to prom together and he was my first. But here lately all we do is fight and he's obsessed with the rapper "50 Cent" he carries his cd player everywhere we go. And i'm tired of it when we argue he starts singing the songs that 50 cent raps. He even says he as other women and i'm sick of it. I don't know if he's lien or not and then he starts calling me names. I keep telling myself i need to just move on or either take a break but we always get back together. He says he's sorry and i forgive him he promises he won't do it again but he does. I just wish i could some how stop having feelings for him because i cry alot over him. He Doesn't work or go to school all he wants to do is listen to that cd player. I'm currently taking online classes for Web Design. Now keep in mind we are both 20 years old i just need some advice because i don't know what else to do. I'm just so glad we don't live together or have children.

I don't know how to say this but I think I done something silly , this boy loved me for me and I ask him out but at the time I was only making fun out of him and then I went out with this guy name chris and we used to wait for him outside his home in front of his door waiting for him to come out or come back from school we all was same ages and me and my BF used to french kiss each other ever day for 2 full years so he can see it and then we cost him 1 year of his school cause he wanted to get his own back of what we was doing to him , anyway it went to court and he won us. 7 years later I saw him and we both looked into each others eyes and he still look hurted but same time he still look so mad at me. after all this time why can't he just drop it ! and if I see him again what should I say cause it wasn't just me ! My momther and i want to move away from her ex-boyfriend of 6 years, who we currently live with. WE are very tight on money, and she suggested sharing a house, with strangers. i hate this idea. im 13 years old and do not like sharing anything. expept with people i like but thats different. when it comes to living situations, i like my stuff in its place, no one can touch it. otherwise i get REALLY frusterated. soo anyway i was wondering what kind of places we could find that we could possibly each have our own space, but sharing a house. i havent even heard of that before, exept college students. but for a mother, her 13 year old daughter, and their dog?

actually, there's my amazing guyfriend that im not really over.
he's kinda skater/emo-ish and he has dark hair and really really deep blue eyes. he's very funny and sweet (and sensitive) and i know him really well.

I love him too, but you know, we are not teenagers(we are both >30)... I dont know if he really love me or he is just find me attractive and after awhile Im not special any more. I cant just be optomistic and cant believe all this is because of love.
