A little boy goes running to a brand new candy store, wishng for there to be this ONE candy that he has been waiting and hoping to have. But when he gets to the candy store, he see's something else that looks better...but he puts it in his mouth and finds out that it tastes worse....wouldn't you figure he would spit it our and go for what he KNOWS will taste good???
But you would be wrong.
Take that situation and put it to real life. Why do we go for a person that we know will be great and will make us happy, but we see someone that looks better on the outside...and go for that instead. We know it wont "taste good"...but for some reason...we dont always spit it out?
If you would NEVER eat a peice of candy that you NEW you wouldn't like....or it would taste good at first but leave you with a horrible after taste...Then why would you date someone you KNEW wasn't going to make you as happy as someone else??

have watched friend after friend talk to me about this amazing person that they want, but they see something better and totally ruin it for something that wasn't even worth it!
People complain over and over again about how hard it is to find a decent guy or girl, but in true honestly, it is not hard at all. You are just looking in all the wrong places. If you want to find a good guy that will treat you right and with respect....then you dont go looking around at the parties down by the lake where the guys are to drunk to know their own name. If you are looking for a good girl that wont cheat on you or screw with your mind...you dont go looking at a party or a bar.
I listen to friends of mine tell me how unfair it is that people wont go out with them because they aren't "perfect" on the outside. But when they get a shot with something good....they go for the thing that looks better.

If you want to go anywhere in the department of love, you cant do the things that other people have done to you.
You were once the candy sitting on the shelf....watching the kid take the other peice....Now its you turn to choose a peice....
Are you going for the peice that looks good? Or the peice that tastes good?
