I don't think there's anything wrong with that. You seem to be more of a big brother to her, and I think most girls could use a guy like that in their life.

Nothing wrong with that as long as the family is involved and you make sure that you are never left alone with her to give others any ammunition to think there is more to it than that, and who knows but what some 5 or 10 years from now the ages won't be so important and you will have a solid background connection to see if there could be more.

personally i find nothing wrong with that. although my parents definately would, they flipped out when i was 14 dating a 17 or 18 yo guy. i'm 15 now and they'll still flip if they knew i was even that good of friends with a 17 yo! i don't know, my parents have age problems. but from the looks of it, her family doesn't seem like that if they let you eat dinner with them and help her with homework. if you two are just friends then it should be fine, as long as you don't plan to go further because i'm sure you already know you can go to jail if anything happens. so staying friends with her should be fine, just try to make sure she doesn't fall for you because that could just lead to a huge heartbreak for her.

I met my now husband when I was 14. He was 17. When we went further, I was mature enough to know about using protection and so on, and we didn't have kids until we had been married and wanted them. Alot of people are not mature enough at 14 to know all about those things. And you never know if her parents are O.K. with it. I would say just keep being friends and maybe slowly it will turn into more in a couple years.

There is nothing wrong with being friends with a friend. That's like telling a 19 yr. old not to talk to his younger siblings because they are 14.

Yes...get a reality check here....you are becoming infatuated with her and it can only lead to problems. she is after all....very impressionable as most girls are at that illegal age. Keep a distance..... you are being drawn in because she is feeding your ego with compliments you like hearing. If she were to kiss you unexpectedly....ask yourself...would I push her away. If you don't know the answer..... you are way too involved with this underage girl.
Reality check is an appropriate name for you.... live by it.

"You're hired or volunteering as her 'PRIVATE TUTOR'."
"Her family feeding you, may be their way of paying you."
"Do it! Make everybody laugh about 'FALLING' for a fourteen
year old, at your age."
"Saying that...... 'AND NEVER WOULD', means a 'warning
bell' done went off inside of your head, already."
"Please, don't be a fool, by giving her something else to tell
her friends at school about. For your sake, don't give her
anything to tell her parents at the dinner table."
"I'm blocking your future questions from.......

i guess ther isn't anything wrong with it, but seeing as how you asked this question in the first place you should already know its not normail. her parents are naturally probably a little cautious of you, not to mention what 19-year-old boy would rather be hanging out with a little girl than guys his own age?

You should not be questioning is it wrong for you to be talking to a 14 year old girl if you have no thoughts of dating her. But if you are thinking it, think statutory rape charge if anything happens. If you're thinking it get it out of your head. There are plenty of young ladies waiting for you----go get them!

if there's nothing more than just "friends" then everything is ok....but if you two turn out to really like each other a lot then there's a problem because you're 19 and legal and she's only 14!
