Try making friends with someone else. Examine your criteria for making friends. Are you only interested in shallow people because thats who your trying to talk to.
Maybe you should look around and see who else is lonely at your school. There are always kids who have no friends. Seek them out or maybe your as snobby as she is to others. Think about it.

Well first of all how old are you?
You have to understand that when you are younger, everyone acts a different way socially. "Friends" can become enemies in a blink of an eye. Don't take this too seriously, because no one knows any better socially at that age. To make friends, just be yourself, and if anyone likes that, they accept you. Don't be quiet and speak up. If this girl is giving you dirty looks and is ignoring you and talking to other people, than ignore her back. She obviously doesn't deserve you as a friend.

First I think that is the stuck up brat kind that is popular. Just find some people with same interests, if you like a sport and someone you know does join a team.

Look, if this girl won't give you the time of day, you shouldn't want to be her friend. A person who could be a good friend to you is someone who actually want to talk to you and hang out with you. Don't give her another thought, she isn't worth it.

Maybe you are trying too hard to be her friend. I know it's hard to do, but sometimes if you back off and act like you don't care so much, people will be more attracted to being your friend.
