Since she loves spending time with her grand-daughter, and that's you........seems to me this is an easy one. Try this one, and take your Nana out to dinner and spend a little time with her. If she likes to play BINGO, take her out to Bingo either before or after dinner. Since she loves spending time with you, this will really make her Birthday a very special day.
I get the impression that you don't really want to be the one to spend any time with your Nana. I have to wonder why that is, other than that you are a young one? It is hard for young people to be around older people, to hear the same old stories or the same old jokes. Sure, it's not cool to be out with your Nana, but spend as much quality time as you can with her. It won't be too long, and she will be gone from your life and be just a memory. Make this a good memory for both of you......maybe your parents would like to join in for dinner and Bingo.
My Nana is 97 years old, and I was her first grandchild, who gave her- her first great grandchild, and my son gave her- her first great, great grandchild. My son waited until he was in his mid thirties to have his first child. There are a lot of good memories in my heart and soul: Of the Christmas's we had, and the family reunions where we heard the same old stories and the same old jokes which became so much of our family history. I cherish my Nana and I know the time is coming when she will be leaving us, and it makes me very sad just the thought of her passing. Take your Nana out to dinner, enjoy her company and her love for you, as well as your love for her. Don't miss out on any chances you have to spend quality time with your Nana making more memories.
