If the mother of a child wishes to keep the father of the baby off of the birth certificate, can she do so? She has no good reason to do so, and is only mad at him. He hasn't done anything wrong, but she is rather hormonal right now and the smallest thigns set her off. She keeps threatening him with this to try to keep him in line, so he's trying to find out if it that's even possible. This is in Louisiana please, so I will love you if you have information pertinent to this state. If you have any website links I will love you forever!

I am 38 and have been married for 20 yrs. He is a wonderful man, but I dont feel like he is the one for me any longer. I do love him, I'm not in love with him. I have been the one to raise both girls and take care of everything, while holding down a full time job. I am tired and feel like if I have to do everything, then I want to do it on my own now. Should I throw away a 20 yr marriage or should I bite my tongue and stay?

..ok my boyfriend accused me of cheating just because he saw me in a picture hugging a guy friend on facebook.. i told him obvioulsy i wasnt cheating and then i told him i wanna break up because im not happy with him...and he was telling me foolishness like he's always there for me and now im abandoning him and stuff..which isnt true because he never pays any attantion to me anyways cuz he's always working and we hardly go out together anymore..so wats the point of being with eachother? and its only been three months soo idk...i dont wanna be wit someone who im not happy with...i like him a lot but im bored with him..i tried breaking up with him before and told him we needed a break but he doesnt wanna accept it..he says im abondaning him..idk what should i do? advice please..

my mother-in-law has laid a guilt trip on us. Discreetly, but she was not very nice about it. She said well are you guys going to come visit us for Christmas because you didn't spend time with us last year. Oh, by the way we were there for Thanksgiving. (I guess that doesn't count). Anyway, my family lives in TN and we live in PA so of course I'm gonna want to see them as much as possible. Financially it makes sense for us to stay here but this guilt is ridiculous.
Please help...I don't want to spend both holidays at her house.

Why is that whenever I (or some of my peers) have a crush on someone, I (or we) tend to avoid him? Whenever I'm around this person, I do everything I can to get away. I guess I'm scared, but if I like him, then wouldn't it make more sense for me to want to be near him? And if I stop wanting to get away from him does this mean I don't have a crush on this guy anymore?

last night, i was at a dance, and my boyfriend was there, weve been going out for 22 days now and that was the first time ive seen him since about august 23 ( we werent dating then) i was kind of nervous and i couldnt think of anything to say to him even though we slow danced twice. does he hate me? or is he mad at me?

I'm looking for an inexpensive location to hold my wedding reception. The date will me August 9th, 2008. I'm expecting between 250 and 300 people. I know, that's a LOT. I don't want to blow my budget, but I don't want to have my wedding in a dump. Can anyone help me find an interesting, inexpensive location to have my reception?

this guy i know had a three year relationship and high school sweet heart relationhip but she ended up cheating on him three times and she left him and went to another guy.. so now he thinks all women are the same and he only has **** buddys nothing more... no relationships no nothing... whenever a woman starts talking about love, careing and wanting more then sex.. he never goes back. so how would you make him see your different in way that he wouldn't think you was falling or him.. more less make him fall for you. but i don't know how to do that with out makeing him feel or think i'm wanting a relationship with him but makeing want a relationship? i don't know if any of this makes any sinces or not but if anyone does get it i'd like any help i could get thanks :)

My best friend recently got married, and I was the Maid of Honor; I have not spoken to her since her wedding a month ago. I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or not, but I feel used and disgusted by her behavior up until the wedding.

First off, between myself and the bridesmaid, we spent close to $2000 on wedding materials (bought her favors, dresses, etc.) and the bride didn't seem to care how much we spent; to top it all off, the groom's side did not shell out one cent for the wedding.

Second, there were no "thank you" gifts at the wedding for us (not even a thank you for all of your efforts in her speech).

Third, I spent close to 8 hours preparing a slideshow and my efforts went unseen.

I guess my main question is, is it wrong of me to not want to speak to her (knowing her for 10 yrs), as I'm so angry that she had total disregard for me (MOH) and the bridesmaid? I'm just not sure how I should handle the whole thing, as it is not easy to confront her (pig headed).

So I have a guy friend that kissed me on my forehead in front of my boyfriend and it really creeped me out. When my boyfriend confronted him later, he got sort of defensive. Is it just me or are most Mormon young ladies married to old wrinkly men?

I am active on the dating scene and think that Latter Day Saint women may prefer experience over experimentation when on the dating scene.

I'm already engaged and I have been engaged for a year. We also live together. When he asked me to marry him he said it would be a long term engagement, and we didn't even set a date but I'm ready get married though and thought it would be nice if we got married on New Year's Eve but he said he wasn't ready yet, though. I don't get. I mean we've been engaged a year and I thought that was long enough. I know his parents don't like me because I don't want to sign a pre-nup but I really hope that's not why he's waiting. What do you guys think is going on? Does he really want to marry me anymore?

ok i dont know what to do here since i absoloutely with a passion hate my dad. hes such an asshole and do not tell me to try to get along with them because thats not why i am writing this. he sucks. he bitches and complains about everything and is such a disgrace to me. he never talks and is an alcoholic and sometimes hits me or attempts to when hes mad and always tries to work to get out of going to family parties. also he bitches about me going to the school i am going to since its a catholic school out of my town. he bitches about the sports i do field hockey, horseback riding and lacrosse. he also complains driving me places and stuff. i want to own/lease a horse but i am 14 and i dont have anybody to drive me to the destination because my mother works nights and alls he does is sits home watches tv and drinks beer. he never helps my mom at all. i dont know why she married him but i want him out of my life dont tell me to go to counseling i seriously want my parents to divorce.
