My wife and I want kids, a few of them, but I look at my brother in law and he has 3 little girls, all beautiful, but i just want at least 1 boy, i know it's out of my hands, but is it really? is there anything i can do to help the process?

I know there are a crap load of women out there, but this one is absolutely incredible and totally completes me! One problem arises, she's taken and it doesn't look like they'll break up any time soon and Im not about to break them up. Sometimes I think she might have a thing for me too, just the way she acts around me (very flirty, gives me lots of hints she's thinking about me, etc.), but the fact she has a boyfriend kind of discourages me that she's interested.

This is kind of a stupid question, but will I ever find a girl that completes me as much as her? Any words of wisdom are appreciated.

Okay, I REALLY liked this girl, all of her freinds (we meet through common freinds) say that she is the NICEST girl ever. AND shes cute, AND doesn't ever seem to have a boyfriend. that is REALLY rare ESPECIALLY where I live. Most women are compleat bitches, even the ugly ones. but this girl is just cute, hell my freinds say that If I think shes hot I must have low standards, so it worked out great, Im REALLY and LEGITIMATLY attracted to her for both looks and personality.

heres the problem, I started to see more of her after coming off of a bad "situation" i had pursued the same girl all thogh middle and HS, she was a slut, but my eyes were blinded by love, it was just bad, she kept lying to me, cancelling dates whenever she agreed to my advances, she even told me she had another date to prom WHEN I WAS AT THE ******* DOOR IN MY TUX WITH THAT DAMN FLOWER FOR HER

it was really stupid and a waste of my life, but anyway

i was talking with some freinds and another girl mentioned that her boyfriend cheated on her, since I was in the middle of a neigh suicidal depression, i said (without realizing the girl I liked now was there) that if a girl ever cheated on me I would go insane and probably kill the guy. weeks later, I sent her a REALLY sappy email and confessed my feelings, completely forgetting what I said earlier and how that must have freaked her out, so she politely told me no. she even gave the whole (I'm not what you want) speech.

But thats in the passed, I'm not depressed about the first girl anymore. and the girl that I like seems to not be creeped out by me, Idk if shes just being nice, but whenever we meet at parties or social gatherings and such we talk a little and she seems fine. but the problem is she KNOWS that I had feelings for her, (and from what I know about women, that instantly makes me undesirable to her) god, I need some advice on this. Again I'm not obsessed or anything, but girls like her are SO ******* RARE, I mean like 1 in a million where I live, Seriously, If I could find a girl with her personality that was mildly attractive and single, cased closed, but THEY JUST DON'T EXIST DOWN HERE>

I've been married to my wife for 3yrs and we have had a pretty good realtionship with it's natural ups and downs. Her family is going through a tough situation right now. One of her brothers is a 19yr old schizopheric and is in the hospital, but will need a place to stay when he gets out. Her other brother is in a juvinile detintion center and is turning 18 and will also need a place to stay when he gets out. Her mother is staying with her sister and her husband and their 4 kids and the husbands baby sister. The rest of the family is staying with her stepdad and his wife. Their house isn't that big and its hard to hold alot of people. They stay with 5 kids-two adults. And both her sister and her stepdad have a small three bedroom home like mine. I don't want to be mean, but I really don't want them to stay with us even if its for a little while. Am I selfish or do I have a right to my home? P.S. My wife is sad because she is afriad the rest of her family will be mad for not helping.

i have 18month old girl, she is my angel.
my new ,man of 3 months told me that he doesnt know what to do, because no matter how hard he tries, she will never be his daughter.

what are your opinions, experiences ect. about step parenting.

i understand that it is hard for him- but it is also hard for us girls too.

he wants to fall in love with 'me' as a person, not as a mum or whatever.

i am confused as to how he is feeling..

i do love him, but havent told him.. everytime i go to, he does something that makes me back away.

help.

i know he wont replace my girls dad, but he doesnt think he will get any respect or enough love like a 'real' dad does...

Ok, so today I went to Jiffy Lube to have my oil changed, and they told me I needed a new cabin filter.

I don't know anything about cars, and they made it sound like this "cabin filter" was a specialty item, that I needed right away. They made it sound like getting it there was the only option, and they charged me $59.99.

When I got home, I called the auto parts store, and it turns out that the filtler is only 15.99!! What the hell? That's about 4x the amount!! HOW COULD THEY??
I don't get how they could rip me off so bad...
I just don't understand.

Is this normal, for them to charge you $60 for a $15 part?

Help...

i'm 15 and i feel so lonely and depress sometimes i just want to kill myself i feel like thats the only way out of this world where i dont have to deal with all the pressures of living . i feel regret everyday of my life i feel angry at everyone around me i have never be in a real relationship i just want someone to love me or like me at least for who i am y is it so hard. i feel depress when ever i see other people happy i just wish i was them i just feel so ugly. everyday i ask my self y am i here whats my purpose i think if i died none would care sometimes i have the urge to throw up because i'm so discusted with myself. why do i feel like a nobody?

ok, my boyfriend of one year is coming to the US to visit ME (he's from the UK)...

he's staying at a hotel near my town, and the plan all along was that i would stay with him. we are both consenting adults and
whatnot.

however, my mom refuses to let me "shack up" with him and called me a sl*t.

isn't it my choice? i am over 18 therefore an adult..i should think i'm capable of making that decision for myself..

just wanting to hear people's opinions on this.. i honestly don't see any problem with it.

He comes home in 4 months. I know its a long time away. I love him so much, and miss him more and more everyday. I am actually nervous to see him. I have become independant while hes been gone because i have no other choice but to be. Will we have to readjust to eachother? I know that when i see him, everything will fall into place. I seriously dont get it! Im not bragging or anything but im pretty cute, im in shape, and im not too quiet. But no boys act like they are at all intersted in me, or that they like me. All my friends are going to homecoming with there dates but not a single guy even asked me!!!!!!!!!

My husband never wants sex with me, and tries to blame it on his medication, but I notice whenever I am asleep or not home he overloads on the porn. He tries to swear that he doesn't jerk off, but I know he does. What the hell is wrong with him, I know alot of other men that would love to be with me. Ok.I met a wonderful man 2 1/2 yrs ago and we fell madly in love.On our 37th day 2gether he took me to our fav place & asked me to be his wife.I said yes!Since then our situation has virtually remained unchanged.We were both still married to others(but long separated) and needed to obtain divorces.I got mine a year and a half later while he stated that she was giving him trouble.Then at the 2 yr mark I went to the courthouse to check, since it is public info, & found that he was granted a divorce 2 weeks after I was.I've asked why he bothered to ask for my hand while seemingly he wasn't prepared to marry me & he stated that he's nervous.Well,we still don't even live together and I'm tired of the holdup.He's good looking & has cash, while I'm HOT and broke.We each have kids who r teens.He declares his undying love 4 me & says he intends 4 things to change but can't say when.O Brother! I dont like the situation at all but love him with all my heart.Stuck in a bad place. Give me ur thots.

My spouse pays more attention to what I am doing then what the kids are doing. I ask him to guide the kids and help out and he says, "why they have brains?" But he watches my every move, asks me why am I doing this or why am I doing that...yet he can't bother to get the the kids doing their homework or going to bed when they are tired. He's more concerned with controlling me (his wife, an adult) then helping with the kids. He denies controlling me when I confront him, by either lieing or saying he worded something wrong. The other thing is the kids can sense this and use it for their advantage (but thank god they are good kids). The other night after I told my son 3 times to go to bed they were carrying on in the kitchen and I said why don't u spport me in parenting? Hoping he would also say, your ma said "go to bed". Instead his response was well if he can't get up for school then it's his problem. Are men really that fffffing stupid Or WHAT?

Hi, my sis and her husband are separated, he lives in PR she lives in FL.. she moved here to get better help for her son who has cerebral palsy. the husband cheated on her now, he has 3 kids with this other one and does not want to keep supporting my sis and nephew. he told my sisther he can not pay hor the house any longer and dont want to send her money either. My nephew is almost 21 y.o. and because of his condition he can not work, he is like a baby, everything needs to be done for him.. ppl say that you get assraped while locked up. i have done over 4 years growing up in different halls and i was in youth authorithy for a year while i was younger, im 18 now and just returned from County. only lames get raped. why is it that every man gets it? its not thats a myth... do any of u think that was a myth designed to scare ppl straight? like, follow the law, or you get raped. im telling you ive only seen it go down 3 1/2 times lol.

Recently I've met a few people who talked about being currently married (one is a professor who talks about his family in class all of the time) who don't wear rings. According to my friend, some people just don't.

I can't think of a reasonable explanation for why someone who's married would choose not to wear a ring unless they wanted to mislead people about their marital status when it suits them. Are there other reasons I'm missing??

my sister who is a homemaker saved her little money from odd jobs like helping clean homes, babysitting doing whatever to save $ to buy her husband tickets to a pricey comedy show. They have 2 boys 8-10 yr old,rarely do they get to go out due to their income & time,he leaves the show several times to go bathroom, phone calls coming in at midnight the next day he's a cop and works 2nd shift, text messages blowing up his phone the morning after. She asks him casually if everything is ok he says things are great its just work. Women intuition or suspicion whatever you want to call it she checks the phone. Its his female partner from work texting saying " i know you can dance baby " , " i bet your date is boring", " when are we going out again " and so on this is on my sisters special date that shes been killing herself to make happen. She calls phone company on the third day hes been talking to her on a few occasions for over 1hr without her knowledge. She confronts him, he says nothing.
